Phil 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by
prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your
requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of
God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Matt 6:8 ... your Father knows the things you have need
of before you ask Him.
James 4:2 ... you have not because you ask not
● God does not ask us to pray, or make our request
known, because He does not have that
information.
● Don’t let your lack of understanding be an excuse
not to pray.
● This is a vocal exercise, it involves speaking.
○ This is not meditation
○ Sending good thoughts out into the universe

“The Lord’s Prayer”
Matt 6:9 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in
heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom
come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our
debts, As we forgive our debtors.13 And do not lead us
into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For
Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory
forever. Amen.
