Today I felt heavy on my heart this -

We do NOT need to be afraid of the EVIL in this world when GOD is our refuge and strength.

Where we get scared is when we LOST our SHIELD of GODS protection by NOT staying ROOTED in Him.

I encourage you today if you’ve dropped your guard. -

Pick up your shield in FAITH.

STAND FIRM.

BE ON GUARD.

I share a story about an experience I had here in West Vancouver the other day with a local farmer. He asked me. “How was your Jesus time this morning?”

I had no idea how he KNEW I had Jesus time - this beautiful conversation took place because he SAW Jesus ON ME!

His spirit RESTS on US.

THATS a promise from your Heavenly Father.

His SPIRIT will bring you rest and REST ON YOU.

Do others around you SEE Jesus spirit in and ON YOU?

To be a change-maker we must be a CHANGED heart for God.

I encourage you today to SIT with God and FALL INTO his unfailing REST.

He wants us to think he’s greater, stronger and more powerful than God.

We also will recognize the enemies attack. We will have spiritual EYES to see what is God and what is NOT.

Growing daily in your relationship God will have LASTING benefits BEYOND this time on earth.

But, on earth. You have the GREATER advantage - you have JESUS! So FIGHT with his power!

This morning I got a note on my coffee machine he wrote last night in apologizing. Recognized that was “old” Zade and that hd took the exact opposite ACTION in what he’d been pressing into for the day.

This is a cycle of sin.

To CUT it OFF we have to take MASSIVE action on what we KNOW is TRUTH - this makes it ALIVE.

This gives us the TRUE FREEDOM in Jesus to TRUST and BELIEVE his word.

Comparison STEALS your JOY.

This past week I’ve been on a mom/son trip with my oldest. It’s been good and challenging.

He is quiet and I’ve felt like he is hiding.

Yesterday, we had a breakthrough moment - God revealed to me his root issue.

Comparison to his younger brother.

This was something he’s been doing since he was a toddler. God began to show me WHY Zade is struggling to be himself - because he’s been trying to be someone else!

I share our moment on my podcast today and pray it will help you see areas of comparison in your own life that are NOT of God.

That it will help you have the tough conversation with your own kids about NOT comparing themselves to each other.

This is a ROOT all the way back to Adam and Eve boys!

This must be dealt with and destroyed.

God brought us there to be a LIGHT for Him.

He replied, “I want to SEE!”

That’s my heart.

I want to SEE - the way GOD SEES!
