Then, the end of Mark 5 Jesus raises a 12 year old little girl back to LIFE and STRICTLY tells the witnesses of the miracle to NOT tell ANYONE!

What is going on here?

Jesus says SHARE & NOT SHARE about his miracles!

I break it down - God showed me seed, soil and harvest.

SEED

SOIL

HARVEST

We need to stay in rhythm of HIS way to KNOW when it’s TIME…

If he’s LORD over your life…

You’ll get TRANSFORMATION.

In Mark we see this transition take place with the disciples.

As a storm hits their boat they cry out, “TEACHER, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?!”

Teacher.

Not. Savior.

Teacher.

At this point he was NOT fully seen to them as LORD.

Later on another storm comes and the response is LORD SAVE US!

How you SEE Jesus will directly AFFECT how he MOVES in your life.

The demons KNEW who Jesus was!

Jesus is on the move of his ministry… healing diseases , casting out demonic spirits and touching souls!

When the demons RECOGNIZED Jesus he did NOT allow them SPEAK.

This hit me… the demons KNOW who Jesus is yet refuse to obey him.

The religious leaders of that day didn’t realize WHO Jesus was and THOUGHT they were obeying the TRUTH.

We can be like these demonic spirits!!!

Recognize JESUS yet NOT living in his TRUTH.

Today, my heart was hit hard with this thought.

Living out what Jesus says shows our relationship in TRUSTING WHO HE SAYS HE IS.

All. In.

Jesus is sharing with his disciples about TWO kinds of responses.

Both are correct.

But, one is pure from the heart and the other is from a prideful heart.

We will ALL face Jesus at the end of our life here on earth.

We will be ASKED what we did with it and WHO we helped lead to HIM.

Did you steward your gifts and care for others?

When you did…you did it for HIM!

The religious leaders once again are TRYING to trap Jesus with their questions about the law.

Jesus responds with LOVE. Just LOVE.

LOVE GOD.

LOVE YOURSELF.

LOVE OTHERS.

That’s it.

People.

He did not come for rules or religion.

He came for relationship.

Relationship with YOU and to GUIDE you in LOVING relationships with OTHERS.

I share today HOW.

What it means to LOVE God with ALL our heart, soul and mind.

WHEN we do this…loving ourselves and others just FLOWS…

It’s an INSIDE job…

Jesus gives the SMACK down!

The chapter starts with him flipping tables and ends with him dropping a TRUTH BOMB on the religious leaders.

Jesus is FULL of LOVE and GRACE AND…

Righteous ANGER.

He tells the religious leaders that tax collectors and prostitutes WILL be in Heaven before them!

Jesus didn’t come for religion and rules.

He came and CREATED US for relationship with God.

The religious IN us can KEEP us from FULLY living in humility and a SURRENDERED heart for God to POUR his spirit into.

Let’s LIVE in TRUTH and SPEAK the TRUTH like Jesus did!

David in Psalm 19 shares about making his words AND heart be pleasing to the Lord. That he makes God his rock (foundation) he builds his life ON.

In Psalm 20:4-7 is about believing God to grant our hearts desire, ALL our plans succeed and answer ALL our prayers!

This BLESSING comes FIRST by living our life ON the foundation of TRUTH.

When our DAILY walk with God is submitting our thoughts, words and heart to HIS WILL…our heart, thoughts and desires become HIS!

He desires to FULFILL EVERY GOOD THING He has for YOU!

We just need to SURRENDER and WALK in the VICTORY THAT IS OURS!

Peter asks Jesus how many times we are to forgive someone.

Jesus response is basically EVERYTIME.

ALL. THE TIME.

WHY?!

Because He knows unforgiveness is a place of torture in the heart of every person carrying it.

Jesus doesn’t tell us to do something that HE doesn’t do.

His grace and forgiveness to US is beyond even our own comprehension.

His LOVE for us is beyond anything we could ever imagine.

This is WHY He says FORGIVE above anything else. Because it FREES YOU!

Frees you to feel, embrace and accept Gods love and forgiveness to YOU.

You can only pour out what’s FILLED up in your heart.

Let your heart be FULL of Gods LOVE and GRACE so you can DAILY pour that out into others!

In this episode I share from Matthew 16:24-28

To gain this world, but LOSE your soul.

Last night the boys and I watched After Death documentary film (on Angel studio app) about people that died and went to Heaven & HELL!

It was one of the most beautiful display of Gods LOVE being shared by these people.

They experienced LOVE & LIGHT beyond what they could comprehend.

Others experienced darkness, demons and torment, but when they cried out for JESUS to SAVE them a light appeared and they met HIM!

Today as I reflected on their stories and was reading about how we TRY to hang on to our life here, we will LOSE IT.

BUT…if we give up our life for Jesus we will SAVE it.

Because ultimately our SOUL is what lasts for eternity.

Our bodies WILL die, but our soul lives forever.

Where we CHOOSE that place for eternity depends on what we CHOOSE here on earth.

Let’s make 2026 the year we go SOUL DEEP.

LOVING and SERVING others the way God desires us to.

That’s our mandate.

Love his kids.
