He’s an ALL IN.

Jesus doesn’t want a part of your life he wants to be ALL of your life - living and dwelling WITHIN YOU!

Jesus shares with a group of people in Luke 9 about WHAT it means to truly FOLLOW HIM.

He shares about putting your hand to the plow - this parallels to the story in 1 Kings 19 about Elijah & Elisha.

To be ALL in requires to DEATH to the flesh!

Meaning - in our own carnal minds and nature we NEED JESUS to be and do EVERYTHING He created us to be!

Without HIM we are coming up WAY LESS than HIS BEST!

Killing the flesh = FREEDOM & VICTORY in Jesus to LIVE our GREATEST LIFE here on earth AND a seat in Heaven for eternity!

Jesus is sharing the parable of the farmer planting seeds.

The seed is Gods word.

Our heart is the soil.

Is it rooted?

That’s on YOU.

Something that God showed me this morning that parallels this is our PRAYERS.

Praying is the PLANTING.

We are taking SEEDS of our life and PLANTING them in Gods hands.

We then can have FULL peace and confidence KNOWING Gods GOT IT!

Why we struggle truly believing HE WILL is because when we planted our prayer it came from a heart that the SOIL is not healthy.

The SOIL of our hearts determines the OUTCOME of the what is PRODUCED in our lives.

Check the SOIL before YOU PLANT!

In this episode I share from Luke 7:36-50

A religious leader of the day invites Jesus to his home.

A prostitute hears that Jesus is eating there and brings expensive perfume to wash his feet with. She then dries his feet with her hair as she weeps and kisses his feet.

This story demonstrates a DEEP LOVE for Jesus.

She feels so unworthy of anything in this life.

She knows WHO he is and shows deep gratitude for him by this act of humility.

The religious leader had a judgmental thought of this act.

Jesus knowing HIS THOUGHT answered it with a story.

Not in judgment or condemnation, but in a story to show him HOW to FORGIVE and show LOVE to ALL people.

I share how EVERY thought Jesus answers.

The struggles, the good, the confused and ones we have a hard time saying- he answers.

Today, I pray you allow God to have ALL your thoughts - answer them to align with His way for your life!

In this episode I share from Luke 2:25-35.

Simeon a righteous man was promised by God he would NOT die until he witnessed the Messiah born!

He held Jesus in his arms and gave them (Mary & Joseph) a prophetic word over Jesus.

He then looked at Mary and said, “And a sword will pierce your very soul!”

As a mom. I can’t imagine.

Hearing that your son will someday be ridiculed, mocked, whipped and have a horrific crucitfition death!

The cost.

There is a COST to following Jesus.

The sword of truth is not easy.

It cuts, sharpens and ultimately brings us to the REAL of Jesus.

Life isn’t about US.

Our lives are here to pick up sword and carry out Gods truth!

Living for the world is COSTLY.

Living for Jesus is COSTLY.

What’s more expensive?

What’s less fulfilling?

Where eventually do END?

Count the cost and LIVE accordingly.

To do the NEW takes WORK on our hearts and mind.

We can’t do it on our own.

We NEED the Holy Spirit.

David cries out to God with a broken spirit of his rebellion. He slept with a man’s wife and had the husband murdered!

Yet, God forgives.

Yes. We are NEVER so far in our SIN for God to NOT cleanse, heal and restore.

It takes a REPENTANCE heart.

Remove.

Create.

Renew.

Restore.

In Mark 7:8-13 Jesus gives a smack down to the pharisees - these religious leaders KNOW the law, but have ZERO heart for God and showing GRACE…

Every idea, thought and belief we have does not ALWAYS mean it’s the TRUTH.

Jesus tells them - you’ve made MAN-MADE ideas as IF they are commands from God.

You CANCEL out Gods truth in order to pass down your OWN new ideas.

This past week this has been heavy on my heart.

As believers are JOB is to live and speak Gods TRUTH.

If we choose to take and believe the WORDLY ideas as our new “truth” and STILL say we believe in God.

We are HYPOCRITES.

WE MUST demand EVERY thought to submit to Gods truth -

Gods way is the BEST WAY…

P.S. I get a little bit fired up and say the word sh*t cause it was not just crap. It REALLY is shiz we need to take to Jesus!

When you trust, delight and commit EVERYTHING to HIM you can be SURE in FULL CONFIDENCE God WILL come through for YOU!

Jesus heals a a person of SEVERAL demonic spirits and tells him GO and SHARE what the Lord has done for you!

Then, the end of Mark 5 Jesus raises a 12 year old little girl back to LIFE and STRICTLY tells the witnesses of the miracle to NOT tell ANYONE!

What is going on here?

Jesus says SHARE & NOT SHARE about his miracles!

We need to stay in rhythm of HIS way to KNOW when it’s TIME…

How you perceive him is WHAT you’ll get FROM Him.

If he’s just a great teacher with sound wisdom. All you’ll get is another great motivational book in the Bible.

If he’s LORD over your life…

You’ll get TRANSFORMATION.

In Mark we see this transition take place with the disciples.

As a storm hits their boat they cry out, “TEACHER, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?!”

Teacher.

Not. Savior.

Teacher.

At this point he was NOT fully seen to them as LORD.

Later on another storm comes and the response is LORD SAVE US!

How you SEE Jesus will directly AFFECT how he MOVES in your life.
