Kirby Wilbur's in-studio guest is Robert Beiser, the Executive Director of Seattle Against Slavery and the Federal Way Coalition Against Trafficking.
Their mission is to mobilize our community in the fight against labor and sex trafficking through education, advocacy and collaboration with local and national partners.
And coming up THIS Saturday, May 18th, is the 7th annual "BREAK THE CHAINS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING" 5k awareness walk at the Commons Mall in Federal Way, at the old Sears parking lot.
The Break the Chains 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser is the largest anti-Human Trafficking event in WA State. 2019 will be its 7th year. In addition to the Run/Walk there will be exhibitors, guest speakers, silent auctions, raffle drawings, and live entertainment.
Handmade signs, strollers, and leased pets are welcome.
