I've been working in the communications industry since 2012 and in that time, I've loved it, hated it, questioned it, avoided it, gotten back to it, loved it some more and questioned it again. And this time, I decided to ask the man who has shaped the lives of many professionals like myself when it comes to strategic communications. Frank J. Oswald is a communications strategist and writer who has worked with the likes of Yahoo and Accenture, to name a few. Frank is also a lecturer at the prestigious Columbia University where he teaches 'Principles in Persuasion and Ethical Decision Making for Communicators'.
We dive deep into ethical and unethical practices that exist in the communications industry and how do we practice persuasion through the lens of ethics.

I have had a love/hate relationship with the communications industry for about 8 years now. I have questioned it, expressed my disdain, realized what it has given me in terms of learning and opportunities, fallen in love with it, questioned it again....you get the idea.
So I decided to find my why by talking to a man who has helped me navigate this relationship with my profession. Tushar Bajaj is a Senior Vice President at one of the largest PR firms in the country and also, my boss and someone I'm grateful to have a guide whenever I need some help.

I look at combat sports, tactical combat systems, and traditional martial arts as ONE PART of a larger whole. And I have been lucky enough to be trained by a man who has explored the arts in pursuit of truth.
But martial arts has been riddled with politics, whataboutery, chest-thumping, and a whole lot of bullshit. So I decided to speak to a man who is on a mission to keep martial arts and martial artists HONEST. Paulo Rubio started two of the top martial arts exploration channels on Youtube called Funker Tactical (https://www.youtube.com/user/FunkerTactical) and Aperture Fight Focused (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiIVDn5bUGZUJc_15qJPjUw) and has held discussions that I feel are extremely important for the martial arts world.

Food can heal. Correction, the right food can heal. But what is right? How do we know? I decided to try and find out by asking my friend Jayati. Now, Jayati is not a nutritionist by profession. Dr. Jayati Dureja, MBBS is an Obstetrician-gynecologist by profession who decided to utilize her medical training to understand nutrition and its effects on healing the body with respect to PCOS, cardiovascular conditions, and weight loss. Since this is just an overview, we are going to do more episodes around this subject.

Healing looks different for everyone. For a lot of us, healing is a physical experience. For others, it is mental. But there are many who would look at healing from a spiritual lens. I was quite the cynic when it came to esoteric practices until a very dear friend said, "absence of evidence, is not evidence of absence". And my meeting with Jas was all about that statement. Jaspreet Bhatia is an NLP practitioner, a corporate psychologist, and trainer, but that's not the fun part. She's also a Shamanism practitioner and Akashic Record reader who has spent her time healing others. And that is what we are going to talk about.

We're experiencing an unprecedented time. There are several reports that people are working a lot more, now that they are working from home. This is started to take a toll on us and that is why it is important to establish and enforce boundaries with our clients and our colleagues.
And Divya is here to talk about just that. Divya Khanna is the AVP for Strategy and Insights at one of the top Communications Agencies in the country. She's been working in the industry for 12 years now and has experienced how your work environment can affect your health if you don't set appropriate personal and professional boundaries.
To all of you who are dealing with this currently, I hope this helps you.

Gautam Khetrapal has been breaking cycles all his life. And he understands the concept so well, he's been trying to break one of the toughest cycles for humanity for a considerable amount of time. Having worked at Mindvalley, which he considers his second home, with the legendary, Vishen Lakhiani, Gautam decided to create, what he calls the Disneyland of Learning and Development.
Having never met him in person and only followed his journey through Lifeplugin on Instagram, this conversation was an opportunity for me to finally learn his story and expand my own understanding of what growth means to me.

Sneh Sharma is the founder of Vividhta - a consultancy that is empowering companies to build their Diversity and Inclusion programs. At the root of these programs, is the identification of our biases. But all biases are not conscious and they are not equal.
In this episode, Sneh and I dive into what biases are in the professional, personal, and social realm and how the key to change is to begin to identify, realize, and consciously choose your biases.
