Breakdowns For Breakfast Episode 24: Iwrestledabearonce: Late For Nothing.
Before there was Spiritbox, Courtney LaPlante introduced herself to the metal world with her contributions to a couple of IWABO albums. Late For Nothing was the first of those two records and Monster wants to break it down. Silly song titles, brutal riffs and chaos from start to finish. Hang on, this one gets crazy!

Breakdowns For Breakfast Episode 23: Dayseeker: Sleeptalk
Danger thinks it would be a good idea to talk about Sleeptalk, by the post-hardcore band Dayseeker. Monster wants to count BPM. NightClubCore makes a comeback on this week's episode as Danger and Monster breakdown another record full of downtuned riffs, pop production and self deprecating lyrics. Does this one stand out, or is it just in the middle of the pack. Unless you're Already Numb, leave that Burial Plot and go get Drunk. Just try not to Crash and Burn before you give the episode a listen.
"You are a sack, but not a sad sack."
"Take em to the Matthews Bridge!"
"I identify with throwing up in the sink."
"Singers! Shut up!"
"It strategically fell apart."
"Thank you for giving me permission on using words."

Quick edit: We just recently heard of the passing of Alex McKinney, the bass player who we speak very highly of in this episode. While we did not know him personally, his contributions to this album and the music scene in NC will resonate for years to come. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
