These are familiar questions you've probably asked or been asked at some point in your life during a conversation with a stranger, in the hopes of getting to know them a bit better.

Light, informal banter, or "small talk," as its affectionately known around the world. 

Some are naturals, and have the gift of the gab, while others struggle in an unfamiliar environment.

But we could all use a few tips or tricks to help improve our small talk game.
