Patrick Monahan returns to join Nick and Lars for an episode of the action anime classic Dragon Ball Z (on the recommendation of Thomas, a listener who sent some suggestions to us in an email). If you don't know the show, it's an incredibly slow-moving and lore-rich show about dudes who fight each other by talking about fighting each other. The episode we watched is the one where series protagonist Goku gets so mad his hair changes color.

Comedian and actor (and Nick's spouse) Faryl Amadeus joins Nick and Lars to watch an episode of Kids Incorporated, a musically-driven live-action sitcom that originally aired on The Disney Channel from the mid-'80s to mid-'90s. The episode we watched was somehow a meditation on the birth of modernity via the emergence of comedy as legitimate cinema, set during the early days of silent film. Weird.
