Tiffany is back from Fukuoka prefecture after a meaningful experience with organic tea harvesting alongside the first ever female tea masters cup champion in Japan! 

In this episode, Tiffany shares her honest impressions staying with the local farmers, her daily schedule and activities she participated in. As well as the challenges and surprises she discovered on this trip with a few travel tips such as the amazing hospitality, heavenly foods, sacred temples or shrines and unique local culture in Kyushu. 

Tiffany brings to mind the importance of having conversations with your local communities on things that matter to you, and in this case it was around the health benefits of organic farming and what we can achieve together to create tastier and safer foods for all.

Happy Earth Day 🌎 all earthlings! We, at the Breakfast With Tiffany Show, would like to join in on the celebration of Earth Day that’s annually held on April 22nd! Since its first event in the US from 1970, Earth Day continues to globally raise ecological awareness to the public in hopes for a healthier ecosystem for our planet and people. Going forward, our podcast aims to continuously open up discussions around sustainable lifestyles, communities and ecosystems and how we can support and show love for earth and ourselves by taking action!

Tiffany invited a lovely guest all the way from the US, Maeve DuVally, as she shares her transformational journey overcoming several hurdles to achieving true self love. 

Our talk begins with Maeve sharing her coming out story, with the surprise from the overwhelming support, love and comfort she received from co-workers, friends and family. . Moreover, the discussion touched on how education and close interactions can help more people understand and know how to be allies to the trans community.  

Maeve proves that it is never too late to be who you truly love, and that the trials and errors are experiences to cherish as they get you closer to what makes you truly happy.

Maeve DuVally is a managing director in corporate communications at Goldman Sachs in New York, where she has worked for 18 years. Previous to that, she worked at Merrill Lynch and as a journalist in Tokyo, Washington and New York. She spent 10 years in Japan (Osaka, Kumamoto and Tokyo), as an exchange student, a government-sponsored English teacher, brokerage analyst and journalist. Since coming out as a transgender women in 2018, she speaks publicly about her experience; mentors other trans people; and, serves of the boards of several queer non-profits.

Tiffany has her good friend of 15 years who is a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, and yoga instructor, the beautiful Emma Ware on her podcast!

A very Happy International Day of Action For Rivers all around the world! For this occasion, we invited the man who began a global movement of “jogging” and “plocka upp'' that translates in Swedish as ‘picking up (litter)’ called Plogging. The plogga mindset offers health benefits from moving our body, being outdoors, and connecting communities with a shared purpose. Moreso, its a fun way for children to “treasure hunt” for trash while learning about plastic pollution. Erik recommends to travel with a purpose, and plogging being a great way to give back to the places we visit. 

Plogging protects our precious rivers, biodiversity, ecosystems and creates a clean and beautiful environment for us all.

Erik Ahlström is the founder of plogging that is a combination of “jogging” and “plocka upp'' that translates in Swedish as ‘picking up (litter)’. This is the last episode of a three-part series with the wonderful Ms. Darlene. 
What is love? Darlene's heartwarming response reminds us of the small gestures from our loved ones and the importance of loving oneself for existing today! In this episode, Tiffany asks Darlene fun questions such as "Who would play you in a film?", “What are some sustainability activities you engage in?”, “what music would you request?” and so on. We also learn from Darlene about her impeccable advocacy for breast cancer awareness through cosplays, the acceptance of bisexuality and body positivity from her shows, and how humour truly can heal and lighten up a room even through tense conversations. 
We end the series with much love and laughs, and we suspect that this will not be the last we hear of the fabulous Ms.Darlene on the ‘Breakfast with Tiffany show’!

Nurul Darlene Illyana is a Singapore-born Australian transgender cabaret entertainer, singer, host, costume designer and stand up comedian. Her transitional journey since the 90’s has altered her life to a world of endless possibilities from winning competitions at the grand Mardi Gras, getting gigs by Australia's iconic Carlotta & Christy McNicol, being featured in BBC documentary, and what holds a special place in her heart was the two hour concert with a LGBTIQ Orchestral band as the audience cheered, laughed and enjoy the show. Darlene expresses to us how grateful she is for the opportunities given to her as a transwoman in Australia.

This is the second episode of a three-part series with the lovely & charismatic entertainer Ms. Darlene.
We take off discussing Asian culture around trans women and the expectations, pressures and limited choices that are taught, is the only way to live. However, Darlene shows us that in our search for finding our own identity, we can't always follow the crowd because it can stifle our voices and impede our journey in pursuit of a better life. This takes courage, confidence and dedication to oneself to pursue such ambitious goals. The support and love from others can greatly help those traveling the path less traveled. The conversation leads to a more vulnerable story about acceptance, self reflection and healing from relationships where Tiffany and Darlene share personal experiences. Darlene also shares her proudest moments with us, pulling our hearts as she spoke! She teaches us that we define our identity, how we want to live and choose the people we want to grow with. As we experience life and become wiser, we will also encounter challenges that would need healing and growth so our future selves can become happy, we need to remember the first step to this journey is to love oneself.

Nurul Darlene Illyana is a Singapore-born Australian transgender cabaret entertainer. Her transition was met with  peaks and valleys since the 90’s with much perseverance, but once she arrived in Australia, her life altered to a world of endless possibilities. Her entertainment career soared from winning singing competitions, and getting gigs with recommendations from Australia's iconic Carlotta & Christy McNicols. Her growth gave her the confidence and inspiration that led to her winning Best Costume Award at 2013 Mardi Gras. One other great experience that she wasn't expected at all was being co-featured in a BBC Documentary about the transgender beauty pageant in Thailand. Singing in a 2 hour concert with a LGBTIQ Orchestral band was another one that will always have a very special place in her heart.
