1."Breaking-Back” in the Word of God

Nehemiah 8:5-6NIV

Ezra opened the book. All the people could see him because he was standing above them; and as he opened it, the people all stood up. (6) Ezra praised the Lord, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, “Amen! Amen!” Then they bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.

Nehemiah 8:8-10 NIV

They read from the Book of the Law of God, making it clear and giving the meaning so that the people understood what was being read. (9) Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and teacher of the Law, and the Levites who were instructing the people said to them all, “This day is holy to the Lord your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people had been weeping as they listened to the words of the Law. (10) Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Haggai 2:6-9 NIV

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. (7) I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. (8) ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. (9) ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

2."Breaking-Back” in the mission of Jesus

Luke 4:14-20 NIV

Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. (15) He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. (16) He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, 17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: (18) “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, (19) to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”(20) Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.

巻物を開くと、人々はいっせいに立ち上がり、理解できる者は熱心に耳を傾けました。エズラの右側には、マティテヤ、シェマ、アナヤ、ウリヤ、ヒルキヤ、マアセヤが並び、左には、ペダヤ、ミシャエル、マルキヤ、ハシュム、ハシュバダナ、ゼカリヤ、メシュラムが並びました。(6)エズラが、偉大なる神である主をほめたたえると、民はみな手を上げ、「アーメン、アーメン」とこたえてひざまずき、地面にひれ伏して、主を礼拝しました。

ネヘミヤ 8:8-10 口語訳

2.イエスのミッションの中で取り返す

ルカ 4:14-20 JCB

イエスが聖霊の力に満たされてガリラヤに戻られると、まもなくその地方一帯にイエスの評判が広まりました。(15)あちこちの会堂で教えを語るイエスは、人々の賞賛の的でした。 (16)それからイエスは、少年時代を過ごしたナザレに帰り、いつものように土曜日（安息日）に会堂へ行かれました。聖書を朗読しようと席を立つと、(17)預言者イザヤの書が手渡されたので、次の箇所をお開きになりました。(18-19)「わたしの上に主の御霊がとどまっておられる。 主は、貧しい人たちに この福音（神の救いの知らせ）を伝えるために、 わたしを任命された。 主はわたしを遣わして、 捕虜には解放を、 盲人には視力の回復をお告げになる。 踏みにじられている人を自由にし、 主の恵みの年をお告げになる。」（イザヤ61・1―２）(20)イエスは朗読を終えると、聖書を閉じ、係の者に返して、腰をおろされました。みんなの目はいっせいにイエスに注がれました。
