ペテロは夢中で否定しました。「何のことだ！さっぱりわからない。」ペテロがこう言い終わらないうちに、鶏の鳴き声が聞こえました。(61) その瞬間、イエスはふり向き、ペテロを見つめました。ペテロは、はっと我に返りました。「明日の朝、鶏が鳴くまでに、あなたは三度、わたしを知らないと言うでしょう」と言われたイエスのことばを思い出したのです。(62) ペテロは外へ走り出て、泣きくずれました。

イエスは私たちに対する憐れみで満ちている
