We are so excited to welcome this week's guest, Lindsey Loon, a very funny comedienne with many talents including photography, singing, acting, writing, voiceover and speaking Japanese!  I met Lindsey when she was running the well-loved Connect Film Festival and lately she’s been producing and performing in fundraising events to support Biden & Harris which became a comedy and music show series called Loons and Tunes. She is definitely putting her Yale degree to good use and she has her Masters from the University of Melbourne in International Studies, so her Australian dialect is on point!

The one where we interview Bella Cosper a small business owner, writer, director and actress who has a vision impairment. She is a writer for the CBS Pipeline and mentee’d at Six Point Harness (Hair Love) for Animation Development. She has produced, directed, & written award-winning short films, scripted audio, TV, & stage productions. An alumni of UCLA’s TV Comedy Writing & Development program, she also studied comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade, iO, & The Pack. You may recognize Bella’s name from our outro credits as she runs her own production company, Egrollmedia.com and we hired her to master our first few episodes until we got our in-house editing staffed and trained!

Bella and I also talked a little about the Easter Seals Disability Film Challenge, a film festival that looks to make disability more visible!  I encourage you to form a team and enter in 2022 - it usually happens in March/April.

Grace Ly is an actress whose husband and children sometimes work in the entertainment industry.  She has been navigating the the challenging path of promoting her children, finding good classes for them and deciding when to turn down jobs based on content.

Bernadette is a native New Yorker, but spent most of her upbringing in Chicago, IL. After graduating from the University of Georgia, with a Bachelors Degree in Theater, Bernadette ventured out to start her career back in Chicago. She co-stared as "Sheila" in the movie "Love Jones" with Lorenz Tate and Nia Long. She had the fortunate opportunity of being featured along side Oscar Award Winning Actor, Sidney Poitier in "To Sir with Love" Part 2. Now, Chief Operating Officer of Dreams Take a Minute Productions, she has been instrumental in a major project, (PHI'LA The Musical), with her husband. She directed the staged musical at the Club Nokia, in October of 2009, and then again at the NAACP Theater Festival, in August 2010. Bernadette is lending her industry expertise in the development of PHI'LA's film project.
