BREAKING: Ellen Greenberg and BIG NEW Developments

Once again Nightshift breaks down the Ellen Greenberg case.

On January 26, 2011, 27 year old Ellen Greenberg arrived home early from work. A first grade teacher, Ellen had an early dismissal as a snow storm was incoming. Soon after, her fiancé, Sam Goldberg, arrived home to their luxury Venice Lofts apartment. After a brief workout in the on site gym, Sam went back upstairs to find his door locked. When Ellen wouldn’t respond nor open the door, Sam says he forcibly entered. There, he found Ellen lying in the kitchen. Blood had pooled around her and a 10 inch knife was sticking out of her chest.

After an initial homicide determination, a quiet meeting was held with two detectives, an attorney and the Medical Examiner. Soon after, the ME changed his report to a determination of SUICIDE. What?!

Three different Philadelphia medical examiners and pathologists reviewed the case and made determinations of homicide, but later would change to say suicide. WHAT?!

The family hired independent pathologists who all concluded HOMICIDE.

ELLEN WAS STABBED 20 TIMES. Her fiancé’s uncle was the JUDGE OF JUDGES.

The only thing her family has wanted was the manner of death to be changed. This weekend, 14 years later, wishes came true. Oh and the city?? Well they settled.
