Sentrus is reunited with old friends and learns of the Queen's fate.

Sentrus says goodbye to Providence and to his former life. He is forced to confront the uncertainty of the future as he leaves the army. As he nearly gives up on his plans an answer comes from an unexpected place.

The Artoren and the White Army come together to honor the fallen. Sentrus considers the path still before him, now that so much has been lost.

And just as he finds understanding, he sees a familiar face in a new way.

The date of execution has arrived and the Artoren are to be executed as traitors, unless Sentrus and Neils can find a way to stop it.

Neils confronts the a tragic duty and Sentrus confronts Neils.
