  • Past Life Memories: 25 Clues to Unlock Who You Really Were

Curious about your past life memories? You may be surprised by the ways memories of past lives can show up. In this article, you’ll discover 25 signs to look for, along with tips on how to remember past lives without hypnosis or meditation.

    How to Remember Past Lives

Have you ever felt an odd pull toward a place, a style, or even a moment in history that doesn’t seem to fit into your current life? Past life memories don’t always arrive as a clear recollection. Sometimes they show up as a tug of curiosity, an unexplained fear, a recurring dream, or a powerful connection to a particular time or place.

My own interest in reincarnation started young. In the 4th grade, I wrote a book report on the Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten. By 6th grade, my fascination had grown. With two girlfriends, we recreated the inside of a pyramid with colored pencils and shirt cardboard from the cleaners.

Those early obsessions weren’t just school projects but clues pointing to experiences my soul already lived. Over time, I’ve seen how these clues show up. They sometimes appear as passions and talents, and other times as aversions or fears. The trick is to notice what stirs something strong inside you.

    Some Memories of Past Lives

Past life experiences don’t always come as a clear memory. Sometimes they show up as a powerful sense of familiarity, an unexplained fear, a recurring dream, or an intense connection to a particular place or period in history.

One of the most obvious signs of a past life memory is when you feel drawn to a particular period of history. For me, it’s always been King Arthur’s legends, the drama of Queen Elizabeth I, and the romance of Renaissance Italy.

In fact, the first European country I ever visited was Italy, as if my soul had been calling me back home. Travel is a very common clue. Yet, the clues don’t always show up in such bold ways. Sometimes they hide in the details of everyday life.

Take my home décor, for example. Years ago, I decorated my bedroom with Corinthian columns, which are ornate, decorative columns I picked up from an antique store. They flank either side of my bed with a crosspiece above, holding lights.

Why did I feel the need for this specific architectural style? At the time, I didn’t stop to question it. But later, I recognized it as another subtle nudge from my Italian past life memories.

    Lessons from Ancient Egypt

One of the most vivid past-life visions I’ve had took me right back to ancient Egypt, echoing the fascination I’d felt as a child. In this vision, I was a wealthy woman, not royalty but rich enough to live in luxury. I was decked out in fabulous jewelry.

But the attitude of my spirit wasn’t so pretty. That woman I saw myself as was harsh, yelling at servants and cruel. Not exactly a lighthearted soul or my best act.

And here’s where it got interesting. In my very next lifetime, I was back in Egypt again, but this time as a slave, making mud bricks under the punishing sun. It was during the time of Moses, so I eventually found freedom and crossed the Red Sea to wander the desert.

From wealth and power to the humblest of lives, my soul wanted both experiences. That’s how past lives work. They help us balance, grow, and round out the rough edges.

    Echoes of War

Sometimes the patterns show up across many readings. For instance, a few years ago I decided to do 30 readings in 30 days for different people. I was quite surprised when I saw that several people had been Roman soldiers. I questioned the validity of this finding.

However, when you think about it, Rome’s empire lasted for centuries, and the army was quite massive with thousands of warriors. So, it makes sense that many could have come back today when you think about how many souls had that experience in the past.

Another striking story came through during a past life reading for a woman who had deep fears of fireworks and drowning that she couldn’t explain. In this life she is a Japanese woman and she wanted to know about her most recent incarnation.

Learn More about Getting a Past Life Reading

Turns out she was a US sailor who died in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. I was impressed with this soul’s bravery to return to the culture that caused his death and also to come back as a woman. While these were difficult past life memories, understanding the root cause of her fears was helpful.

    A Viking at Halloween

One of my favorite examples was also one of the most nerve-wracking. My friend begged me to do a past life reading for a local newspaper reporter who came to the psychic fair. Of course I worried about not coming up with anything.

The reporter sat down at my table and his wife stood behind him. Both friendly but gave nothing away. What I saw was crystal clear – he had a life as a Viking. Blonde hair, a beard, heavy tunic, shield, sword, helmet—the works. He was training with his sword  with other men from the village.

When I described the scene, I held my breath, wondering if he’d roll his eyes. Instead, his wife burst out laughing. She told me that every single Halloween, without fail, he dressed up as a Viking. His past still echoed, nudging him to remember.

Halloween itself can be a massive source of clues. Year after year, people instinctively pick costumes that feel oddly familiar. It’s as if the soul seizes its chance to slip into an old identity, even just for one night. Maybe you’re always drawn to being a witch, a flapper, a soldier, or a queen. It could be past life memories.

    Your Soul Knows

Exploring past lives is fun, but also revealing. It helps explain the unexplainable. Why you’re drawn to certain places, why certain fears linger, and why certain people feel instantly familiar. It’s a way to understand yourself on a soul level, with compassion and curiosity.

Next time you find yourself magnetically drawn to a piece of history, a place, or even a Halloween costume, pause and ask yourself, “Could this be a clue?” The soul is always whispering, leaving breadcrumbs to remind you of the vastness of who you really are.

      Past Life Recall

Now that you know all the easy ways to discover possible past lives, I’ll give you the short list of how you might actually recall the lives. First, you can look for a hypnotherapist that specializes in past life recall. You might also try self-hypnosis to do this on your own. There are many videos about this on YouTube.

The second path is to get into a meditative state and ask your higher self or spirit guides to show you a past life that is important for the life lessons you are currently working on. Connecting to something influencing you today will create a stronger experience than plain curiosity.

Frequently Asked Questions About Past Life Memories

How can you remember past lives? Past life memories may surface through dreams, meditation, journaling, intuitive practices, or past life regression. You can also begin by paying attention to recurring interests, strong emotional reactions, déjà vu, unexplained fears, and places or periods of history that feel strangely familiar.

Can dreams be past life memories? Some people believe recurring or unusually vivid dreams can contain past life memories. If a dream feels more like a memory than an ordinary dream, especially when it takes place in another time or culture, write it down and look for patterns that may give you more clues.

Can you remember a past life without hypnosis? Yes. You don’t need hypnosis to explore possible past life memories. Dreams, meditation, journaling, intuitive practices, and simply paying attention to recurring attractions, fears, and feelings of familiarity can all give you clues to explore.

    27. The Messy Truth About How To Trust Yourself & The Universe

Today I’m talking about how to trust yourself and the Universe. This has been one of my biggest lfie challenges, but I’ve got some simple tips that really work in this episode.

      Lessons in Trust

Many lessons about trust have come to me through business. Back in 2010, I partnered with Cathy, another dating coach, to host a summit about love—a marketing method that was just starting to catch on.

At first, working together felt easy. I handled speakers and web design, she handled promotion. Then, during a check-in meeting, she announced her coach told her she didn’t need me anymore. She still wanted to finish the event, but she’d be taking it from there to continue the next year.

I was devastated. I had trusted her, and suddenly she was going to take my work. I told her she could do her own event and didn’t give her access to the site I’d built. When we hung up, I was literally shaking.

Even though it was August, hot and humid, I went to the beach with my husband to calm down. As we walked, I kept running it over again in my mind. Paul wanted to leave but I needed to walk a bit more. Then, 50 feet ahead I saw scratched into the sand in big 5″ letters: TRUST.

I froze. Who wrote that? Trust what? Trust who? My husband said, “Trust yourself.” Not exactly the message I wanted, but the truth was there. I couldn’t trust Cathy, but I could trust myself enough to walk away.

      Going Deeper

There was a deeper lesson too. Trust isn’t blind faith or ignoring red flags. It’s really about discernment. Cathy showed me who she was. The real question became, did I trust myself to act on this new information? I sure did. Walking away from her wasn’t what I wanted, but it was the only thing to do.

You can’t expect everyone to do right by you. Yet, you don’t want to distrust everyone blindly either. When you trust yourself, you’ll stay open while knowing you’ll handle things if they go awry.

The Universe often teaches lessons through other people and relationships. Sometimes it comes in the form of disappointment or betrayal, while other times through support and friendship. Learn to trust yourself to respond appropriately when someone shows you who they are.

Over the years, I’ve learned to trust my gut. I feel the truth in my body. Often it shows up as something hard I know I have to do, but wish I didn’t.

So let’s talk about trust—trusting yourself, the Universe, and that whole magical dance between the two.

What Does “Trust the Universe” Mean?

Trusting the Universe isn’t about astrology or seeing signs or manifesting. It’s about believing life isn’t out to get you, and that you are supported, even when all hell breaks loose.

When you surrender to the Universe, It’s not giving up. It’s letting go of needing to control the details or the outcome. Next time something goes wrong, pause and say, “I trust this will work out, even if I don’t know how.” Notice the shift.

To work on trusting the Universe, remember that you have a team of helpers in spirit including spirit guides, angels, and ancestors who all watch out for you.

You can also do things like pick an oracle card, pay attention to synchronicities and jot them down, and celebrate the hunches and signs you notice.

To trust yourself, think of this like buidling a muscle. You exercise and work it to strengthen it. You might read Gabby Bernstein’s book The Universe Has Your Back to get some insights and inspiration.

      Trust Yourself

Now flip the mirror to look within. To trust yourself means knowing you can survive mistakes, make better choices, and be more resilient. Without self-trust, even the Universe can’t guide you.

Every promise you keep to yourself, even tiny ones, reinforces that at least you’ve got your own back. Instead of thinking of mistakes as failures, consider them to be your teachers. Growth is messy but it proves you’re evolving.

Practice: Before your next decision, ask yourself, “If I trusted myself completely, what would I do?” Let your gut answer, not your doubts or ego.

Here’s a story about how much I trust myself. A couple of years ago, I quit a job right before I started. The man in charge had hired 50 coaches, and something felt off. I had an inner conversation with him, intuitively, and got the same strange answer twice. Intuitively, I heard him say, “Not my problem.”

Because I trusted my inner wisdom, I walked away, even after three interviews and training. Eighteen months later, reviews confirmed my knowing –  they didn’t get paid. Trusting myself saved me from working for free. I do admit that I’m still working on trusting the Universe

      Cultivating Trust

Let’s get practical. Here are ways to build trust daily:

Pause, Breathe, Repeat: When fear hits, ask, “What if everything worked out for my highest good?”

Track Evidence: Write down times life surprised you or you overcame something hard. Use it as proof the Universe has your back.

Take Imperfect Action: Don’t wait until you’re ready. Hit publish, send the message, and start the thing. Trust grows when you lean in.

      Universe + Yourself = Magic

When you blend trust in yourself with trust in the universe, life gets lighter. You shift from gripping the steering wheel to co-creating with spirit. Like a surfer, you ride the waves and go with the flow, even if you’re nervous.

What are the benefits of living this way? Less anxiety. More flexibility. Openness in relationships. Even failures become stepping stones toward resilience and wisdom.

      Trust Yourself Tricks
      1. When fear hits, breathe deeply and say, “The universe is working for me.” Pretend you believe it, even for a minute.
      2. Before your next task, whisper, “I trust myself.” Ask, “What would I do if I trusted myself fully?” Let your body answer.
      3. Take one small brave action each day and celebrate it.
      4. The Universe is Not a Genie

One word of caution. The universe is not like a genie who will grant your wishes. The reason is sometimes you want things that might not be for your highest good. So, the universe will provide and help you, but the solution might not look exactly as you thought it would.

The best approach is not to be attached to the exact way things work out. What’s for your highest good might not match your precise wishes, but that doesn’t mean things won’t work out well. Let it be enough that things work out and receive the solution with grace as much as possible.

I’m not saying you can’t have what you want. Often you can. Just know that sometimes the best possible solution might look different than you planned.

There are times when not getting what you want is actually a gift. Especially when you look back and see how things might have turned out poorly in the long run.

Trusting yourself is built in micro-moments and big leaps, through laughter and lessons. It can be messy, it can be fun, but it always pays off.

So, trust yourself, keep showing up, and keep laughing when life goes sideways. The Universe and your soul have your back more than you imagine.

      5. Are Struggling And Suffering Required For Growth?

Struggle shows up in many ways and plays a crucial role in personal growth, societal progress, and spiritual development. It builds resilience, character, and ultimately shapes who you are.

When you struggle, it can be a powerful motivator, prompting you to adapt, learn, and strive for improvement. Facing challenges can also strengthen relationships and produce empathy.

But is it always required? Some people grow through joy, creativity, and inspiration instead of hardship. Let’s look at the purpose of struggle in three areas of life.

        1. Personal Growth and Resilience

Character Development: Struggle forces us to confront difficult emotions, overcome obstacles, and develop persistence.

Learning and Adaptation: By navigating challenges, we learn valuable lessons and problem-solving skills.

Self-Awareness: Struggle reveals our strengths, weaknesses, and areas we need to grow.

Defining Values: Hardship clarifies what truly matters to us.

Appreciating Success: Difficulties make us more grateful for life’s positive moments.

        2. Progress for Society

Innovation and Change: Societal struggles often spark movements and scientific breakthroughs.

Motivating Action: Hardship can highlight injustices and inspire people to work toward a better world.

Building Solidarity: Shared experiences create connection and collective strength. This is what can bring people together for a common cause.

        3. Spiritual Development

Finding Meaning: Struggle can spark reflection on life’s purpose.

Strengthening Faith: For some, adversity deepens trust in a higher power.

Spiritual Growth: Struggle can open the heart to compassion and empathy.

Living Authentically: It often pushes us to embrace our true selves.

Ultimately, struggle is an inherent part of being human. While painful, it’s also a powerful force for growth and meaning. As Jo Boaler, British educator and author of Limitless Mind, explains:

“We cannot achieve anything creative without being comfortable with mistakes and struggle—and we should all embrace times of struggle, knowing they are helping our brains. When we adopt a limitless perspective, approaching different jobs and conversations with a comfort with uncertainty and struggle, with a willingness to learn from others and with a flexible approach to problems, outcomes improve—in learning and in life.”

That’s the beauty and power of group work. Nothing else like it if you ask me. The connection to the Universe is amazing when we work together, because the energy is amplified significantly.

        Struggling vs. Suffering

Here’s where I want to pause for a moment and clarify. Struggle and suffering are not the same thing. Struggle can be short-term—it’s the effort, the push, the challenge.

Suffering, on the other hand, is often prolonged. It’s the ongoing pain, heaviness, or despair felt when you resist what is happening or attach to the story of the struggle. In many ways, suffering is struggle without acceptance.

Struggle may sharpen you, but suffering can wear you down if you stay stuck in it.

In my monthly Intuitive and Akashic Records group, one member asked how today’s suffering in the world impacts collective consciousness. This group has been working together for a couple of years to do intuitive work, which amplifies the energy significantly. That means we can access higher information for better answers,

Before diving into that, I’ve been curious about why so many people feel the world is in such a dreadful state. Is it really worse now than in other periods in history?

I asked AI to compare different historical periods. It ranked Black Plague in the 1400s as the worst—when 30–60% of Europe’s population died! Next came WWII certainly creating a lack of stability across the globe.

It also pointed out something I hadn’t considered. One thing that makes today feel so much worse than it might really be is the instant access to global news and social media. Every tragedy, act of violence, and natural disaster is broadcast immediately.

Our ancestors didn’t carry this weight of the world the way we do today. No wonder your nervous system feels maxed out!

        Messages from the Akashic Records

Back to the group session. Here are the messages that came through to answer the question about suffering and the collective.

My message: “Suffering isn’t required for growth. But resistance can create circumstances where suffering shows up as the push needed to evolve. Many people need that catalyst and your higher self will orchestrate that if it’s needed to get you moving.”

Kay’s message: “Yes, there is suffering and it adds up in the collective. However, be concerned with the self and not the collective. Too much time focusing on others or the collective becomes a distraction from your own personal growth. It’s better to focus yourself.”

Well you can let that free you up from worrying about the world and the collective consciousness!

Bee’s message: Lastly, I want to share what Bee got as a message. Hold onto your seat because this communication blew me away!

“There are many factors to humanity’s collective growth and awakening. Each person evolves in their own time/timeline. There is tremendous growth right now if you could only see it.

The low vibe or darkness keeps you at bay, so you’re suppressed to knowing there is so much light in the world, you would consider it blinding!

Raise your vibration. Raise your awareness to your abilities to go within. Step out of the matrix and you will see not only how you have evolved, but also how the planet as a whole has as well. Reconnect with nature and all that is your light shines brightly.”

OMG the light on earth is blinding! Imagine that.

I’ve mentioned before how Kryon, channeled by Lee Carol, said about 10 years ago that earth had achieved 26% light and what good news that was. According to Kryon, we only needed 25% light to handle the darkness in the world.  Imagine what the percentage is now if spirit considers it to be blinding!

Really take that in for a moment and let it sink into your consciousness. There is so much light that if you could see it, it would appear blinding. In other words nothing else would be visible except the light.

In addition, since you are a part of everything and everything is a part of you, that means your light is blinding too!

        A New Manifesting Idea

Of course, after these big revelations, I still find myself seesawing with personal struggles. Recently I saw article about how to manifest when you don’t know what you want. It was a good reminder that growth isn’t always clear-cut. I ended up writing my own affirmation, inspired by the article and the writer’s affirmation, as well as these ideas on struggle and growth.

“I surrender to this transformation of my life now and am moving to my next phase that’s fun, synchronistic, and so exciting. I trust the Universe and feel supported!”

Could that affirmation work for you too? I purposely included fun and excitement, that I may learn through joy and creativity vs. struggling.

How to Shift Out of Suffering

If you find yourself struggling or suffering, pause and ask, “Am I struggling productively, or am I suffering unnecessarily?”

Here are some suggestions to shift out of struggling and suffering:

        • Journal your feelings
        • Set energetic boundaries (especially if you’re an empath)
        • Breathe into acceptance
        • Reach out to a supportive friend
        • If you’re overwhelmed by the world’s pain, do what you can to let those thoughts float by. This is a place where distracting yourself is productive! Do something creative, play, sing, dance, but don’t allow yourself to sink into despair.

History shows humanity has lived through far worse than today’s corrupt world leaders and natural disasters.

          So, Is Struggle Required?

Not always. Growth will always ask something of you, but suffering and struggling are not always a must. You can meet change through joy, creativity, and flow just as much as through hardship.

The choice is how you engage with life’s challenges and your attitude toward growth. Embrace the changes, and you’ll struggle and suffer a whole lot less.

          xoxo,

          Ronnie

        • Mary Magdalene Story – The Apostle They Tried to Silence

Today we’re diving into the real Mary Magdalene story. Not the repentant sinner you heard about in Sunday school, but Mary the priestess, the apostle, the mystic, and spiritual teacher who some early Christians, aka Gnostics, saw as Jesus’s equal partner in transmitting sacred wisdom.

          A Divine Tale

This is a tale about divine feminine energy, suppressed teachings, and why understanding Mary’s true role might change how you see spiritual authority altogether.

So buckle up, because we’re about to uncover one of history’s greatest cover-ups.

I’ve been fascinated with the Mary Magdelene story for decades. When I first got wind of the idea that she was far more than a prostitute, I was completely hooked to learn more of her story.

Over 20 years ago I read the book The Woman with the Alabaster Jar by Margaret Starbird and absolutely loved it. She traced evidence about Mary Magdelene through history, in particular relying on art. While this may sound boring, it was actually super intriguing for me.

Years later in 2003, Dan Brown’s book The DaVinci Code was published. If you read the book or saw the movie, you know the story line is about how Jesus and Mary Magdelene had a child which is all about the blood line. Mary escaped to southern France, which I’ll talk more about in a few minutes.

          The Official Mary Magdalene

Here’s what we know from the heavily edited and multiple-times translated biblical texts that made it into the official canon or what they call the Bible today:

          • Mary Magdalene shows up in all four gospels.
          • She’s there at the crucifixion when most of the male disciples had fled.
          • She’s there at the burial.
          • She’s the very first person to witness Jesus after the resurrection.
          • In a culture where women’s testimony wasn’t valid in court, Jesus chose a woman to be the first witness to the most important event in Christian history. The others didn’t believe her, yet the early church called her Apostola Apostolorum—the Apostle to the Apostles.

So how did she go from this central role to being remembered as a “fallen” woman?

            The Great Silencing

In 591 CE, Pope Gregory the Great gave a sermon declaring that Mary Magdalene, the unnamed sinful woman who anointed Jesus’s feet, and Mary of Bethany were all the same person. That one statement recast the Apostle to the Apostles as a repentant prostitute—a label that lasted more than 1,400 years.

Modern scholarship shows these were three different women. In 1969, the Catholic Church quietly corrected the record in its revised liturgical calendar, but that’s not something you’ll often hear in a Sunday sermon.

Why merge these women into one “lowly” figure? In building a male-dominated church, stories of Jesus’s trusted female apostle—someone who received private teachings and comforted the disciples—posed a challenge to the idea that women should be silent in church.

            The Lost Gospels

In 1945, the Nag Hammadi scrolls were discovered in Egypt. These ancient Christian (Gnostic) writings told a very different story about Jesus, this teachings, and hte role of Mary among other things..

The Gospel of Mary portrays her as a visionary leader. When the disciples are frozen in fear after Jesus’s death, she comforts them and reminds them of his teachings.

In this gospel, she also shares private teachings Jesus gave her alone, which infuriated Peter and made him question why Jesus would give his deepest wisdom to a woman.

The Gospel of Philip (also from Nag Hamadi) calls Mary Jesus’s “koinônos”, which is ancient Greek for “partner” or “companion,” and says he, “loved her more than all the disciples.”  While this could represent the transmission of spiritual wisdom, the intimacy described is clearly special.

Some theories, like those in Margaret Starbird’s The Woman with the Alabaster Jar, suggest Mary Magdalene could have been Jesus’s wife, and represent the symbolic Holy Grail.

Starbird notes that the anointing ritual Mary did for Jesus used costly herbs and was also used as a marriage ritual at the time. So, its unlikely a poor woman would have done this.

            The French Connection

Legend says that after Jesus’s death, Mary fled to southern France. In the caves of Sainte-Baume, she is said to have spent her final years in contemplation and teaching—a site still visited by pilgrims today.

Across the region, mysterious Black Madonna statues can still be found today. While officially representing the Virgin Mary, some scholars believe these statues allowed women to continue honoring Mary Magdalene in secret.

The Black Madonna embodies the sacred feminine, earth wisdom, and embodied divinity—elements the official church tried to suppress.

            Mary’s Teachings

Mary’s recorded teachings focus on the soul’s journey beyond death, overcoming powers like desire, ignorance, wrath, and attachment. She wasn’t about rejecting life, but finding balance and avoiding being ruled by these forces.

She emphasized inner spiritual authority over external hierarchy. In her vision, the soul says: “I recognized myself and I gathered myself from everywhere.” Her path is about reclaiming the scattered pieces of yourself that may have been lost to relationships, jobs, expectations, or trauma. Then  reintegrating these parts brings you into wholeness.

Mary also taught that the divine is not far away but within us, here and now. That’s why she could hold steady when others were afraid, because she knew fear wasn’t their deepest truth.

            The Divine Feminine

Mary Magdalene represents the divine feminine, which is a way of being and not about gender. Her qualities include:

            • Intuitive wisdom over rigid dogma
            • Compassion in action over passive belief
            • Healing through presence, not just words
            • Courage to speak truth even when unwelcome
            • Seeing the sacred in what society rejects
            • She shows us how to stand in our knowing and sanctify the human experience instead of escaping it.
            • Why Mary Matters Now

Today, many are reclaiming spiritual authority, questioning hierarchies, and seeking direct connection to the sacred. Mary’s message is to be fully human, fully embodied, and fully alive—and to let that be your path to the divine.

She also models how to navigate spiritual communities where jealousy or doubt arise. When Peter questioned her teachings, she didn’t shrink or apologize. She spoke what she knew and let others decide for themselves.

              Walking the Magdalene Path

If you feel drawn to Mary Magdalene’s energy, try:

Rose Meditation: Hold a rose or use rose oil on your heart, breathing in the scent as you imagine calling back all scattered parts of yourself.

Anointing Ritual: With olive or essential oil, anoint your hands, heart, throat, and feet to honor your work, love, truth, and path.

Inner Authority Check-In: Before seeking advice, ask yourself, “What does my deepest knowing say?”

Sacred Pilgrimage: Visit places like Sainte-Baume or local sites with strong feminine energy.

              Reclaiming What Was Hidden

Mary Magdalene’s story is alive every time you speak truth despite dismissal, trust your knowing over authority, or see sacredness where others do not.

The church never erased her completely. Her beloved presence lived on through art, mystics, healers, and secret traditions. Today, she’s emerging again as the powerful, deeply loving spiritual force she always was.

Here’s something to consider – what part of your spiritual authority are you ready to reclaim? What truth is calling you to speak? This is the time for such things!

Mary’s story proves that no decree, no doctrine, no power on earth can bury the truth forever. Let’s take a page out of Mary Magdalene’s story. If her truth could survive centuries of silencing, and remain alive through whispers, legends, and hidden texts to burst into the light 2,000 years later, then yours can ripple out starting now.

Every time you speak from your heart, act from your knowing, and shine your light, you’re adding your own verse to the power of the divine feminine. This is your moment to let the world finally see who you are—because your story, like Mary’s, was never meant to be hidden.

So shine brightly, and let your light ripple across the web of life, sparking optimism, energy, and connection wherever it touches.

            • Family Drama – How I Navigated Through An Emotional Setback

Over the last couple of weeks, my emotions have been all over the place due to let’s call it light family drama. Waves of sadness would hit, seemingly out of nowhere.

              Lion’s Gate Portal

Just as I started writing notes for this episode, I remembered that we’re in the midst of the Lion’s Gate portal (July 28th – August 12th). This portal creates heightened spiritual energy for personal growth and transformation. The peak is August 8th, the day this podcast was published.

Lion’s Gate is known for stirring up emotions and I’m feeling it! That energetic window intensifies feelings and brings up anything you thought you’d already worked through for another crack at the lesson. Oh joy.

              Here’s My Story

So yes, I have a story about family drama or more specifically, how I allowed myself to be spiral down emotionally and what it took to recover and find my way back to center.

I’m not getting into the nitty-gritty, but I felt hurt and left out. It wasn’t just one incident, but a series of small moments that added up.

For example, there was a family event, and I wasn’t on the invitation list. Someone noticed the oversight and I did get a late invite. This wasn’t intentional — I truly believe that. Yet, I can’t help but think it was a subconscious thing.

The first thing I did was talk about it with friends and my husband. Everyone listened and were supportive, and I truly appreciated their kindness. But did it actually help? Not really. I still felt out of sorts.

A couple of people suggested ways to handle it or steps to take. However, nothing felt quite right. Deep down, I knew it was up to me to either change the situation or change how I was seeing it.

              Navigate on My Own

I needed to find a way to navigate through without making it worse, especially since there was nothing concrete I could point to, and no specific harm done to me. It was more about what hadn’t happened, you know what I mean?

Time was spent wondering what my mom, who passed seven years ago, would say about all this. She was outspoken, like me. I thought about contacting a medium to hear her take from the other side, but I didn’t go through with it.

In the meantime, I did everything I know how to do when I’m emotionally stuck. I journaled, meditated, and asked my guides and angels for insight. And got… nothing. Total crickets.

This is not unusual when I’m in an emotional tailspin. One of the things I tell my clients is that your intuition gets wonky when you’re upset. It’s like trying to get a clear radio signal from a distant station. You get static.

              4 Phases to Emotional Recovery

Eventually, I began my emotional recovery with Phase 1: Awareness. I caught myself in the midst of obsessing and said, “Okay, that’s enough.”

Shifting to gratitude practice, I thought of everything good in my life and worked to embody it.  This was explained in detail during a recent episode on upleveling gratitude.

That should have worked. But it didn’t. My mind, stubborn and strong, snapped back to the same sad narrative. I was stuck in a dismal thought loop that actually was keeping me up at night.

That led me to Phase 2: Empowered Action. I shifted the question from, “Why do I feel this way?” to “What can I do about this?”

              Two Paths of Action

              I saw two paths:

              1) Reach out to my family. Maybe apologize for any unintentional harm I might have caused. I say unintentional because I couldn’t think of anything specific I might done wrong.

              2) Take care of myself and try a spiritual reset.

The first path gave me pause. Was I ready to have that conversation? Would the apology be authentic or was it an attempt to smooth things over, so I could feel better? Being uncomfortable, I wanted to fix things.

Still, something didn’t sit right. I meditated on it, hoping for guidance. Again silence. Then I remembered my go-to spiritual reset for problem solving, which is chanting the Ganesha mantra.

              Ganesha Mantra

Ganesha, the Hindu elephant-headed God, is known as the remover of obstacles. A powerful ally if you ask me. I played a 21-minute version of “Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha Shanam Ganesha” and let it wash over me. I walked to it, listened at my desk, and sang it myself.

That night, I dreamt of dolphins and whales. In the dream I was at the beach (where I’ve spent a lot of time lately), and saw playful dolphins in the water. Farther out, whales surfaced, slow and majestic.

I opened my dream book by Betty Bethards, and her interpretations were perfect for what I was going through!

Dolphins: Joy, connection, and playfulness, and the ability to play in the emotional waters of life and not fear relationships.

Whales: Emotional depth and healing, wisdom, powerful intuition, and a big opportunity might be coming my way.

              Suddenly, I felt a shift!

              Reaching Acceptance

The next day came Phase 3: Acceptance. Sitting at the beach, my guides popped some surprisingy different questions into my mind. I say my guides because this lie of thought wasn’t likely on my own.

              • What if I’m misreading the situation?
              • What if I’m reacting not to facts, but to the story I’m telling myself?
              • What if I’ve created a narrative that’s heavier than the truth?
              • Those questions made me rethink everything that had been circulating in my mind. It was time to accept that I might be making a bigger deal out of this than it truly was.

The next day I finally pulled some cards. Why didn’t I do this sooner? From the Aura Soma color therapy deck, I drew purple and green. This combination helps dissolve negativity and restore self-confidence. Yes, please.

The second card was the combination of clear and bright pink, inviting me to “Not take myself so seriously, bring in humor and lighten up.” OK!

                Be Quiet and Observe

Then I switched to the Faery Forest deck and got the Cunning Faery Woman. Her message? “Don’t talk or act. Just observe. Be silent and let people reveal themselves. See truth by what is happening vs. story, imagination, and interpretation.” Whoa! That was so specific and on target!

This guidance lined up perfectly with what I’d already started feeling. Maybe the story I was obsessing over wasn’t accurate. Perhaps what I needed most wasn’t to confront or fix, but to drop it and let go.

And just like that was the arrival of Phase 4: Liberation. The energy shifted was complete. I was no longer dragging around all that victim stuff and hurt feelings anymore. I let go through clarity of recognizing the truth. Big Truth.

I finally understood this was about me going within, becoming more independent, and reclaiming my emotional balance.

So, no big family talk or dramatic apology. Just me, being still and relying on myself.

                Finding Peace

I’m learning (again) that peace isn’t always about resolution. Sometimes it’s about re-centering myself, shutting down the stories, and remembering my worth, regardless of what anyone else does or doesn’t do.

If you’re dealing with family drama or emotional tension, I invite you to ask yourself:

                • Am I reacting to the situation, or to the story I’m telling myself about it?
                • Can I create peace even if nothing gets fixed?
                • What if healing comes from focusing on my own joy and wholeness?
                • Family drama is real and sometimes you have to stand up for yourself, speak up, address things, and have the hard conversations. On the other hand, sometimes the problem is wrapped up in layers of old stories and expectations, and mostly within.

The magic happens when you pause, feel what you’re feeling, and then choose to empower yourself. That’s my advice on family issues. And remember to breathe love and magic, which always helps a lot.

                • Holy Fire Reiki – Energy Healing on Steroids

In this episode, I reveal the gory details of a dramatic Holy Fire Reiki session with my guest Cindy Bain. She’s a Holy Fire III Reiki Master who’s not only deeply gifted but also warm, wise, and totally tuned in.

                  Reiki’s Evolution

First, let me briefly explain Reiki in case you are new to this modality. Reiki was ushered into the world by Mikao Usui of Japan in 1920, adn then to Hawaii in 1937 by his student Takata.

It was a gentle healing technique using hands to channel universal life force energy. Often described as calming, soothing, and supportive of the body’s natural healing process, today that barely scratches the surface.

Cindy explained how Reiki has significantly grown and expanded. She’s trained at the Master level in three styles—Tibetan Usui, Karuna, and the supercharged Holy Fire World Peace Reiki.

Each has its own energetic frequency and flavor. Holy Fire III, in particular, carries a high-vibration frequency that works on deep spiritual and emotional levels. This is soul-deep energy work.

                  Not a Spa-Day Reiki Session

I had no idea how much Reiki had changed since I first took Reiki I back in 1990and then became a Master in 1994. Thirty years is plenty of time for an energetic evolution, and wow…has it ever evolved! This is no longer some pleasant spa treatment!

Cindy’s sessions are simply amazing, blending multiple Reiki energy methods with past life work. Sometimes she even ventures into the faery realm, depending on what your soul requires.

The first thing she noticed during my session was an energetic “shield” around me. It had once served as protection, but now it was outdated and holding me back. She gently released it, freeing me up for more growth and expansion.

Next she found me in the faery realm. She saw me half in sparkling faery light and the other half in the shadows. Apparently, I’d encountered a dark elemental somewhere along the way. Cindy cleared that too, so I could fully stand in the light where I belong.

What really surprised me was that I never told her about my connection to nature spirits. But there she was, seeing the situation that needed to be addressed.

                  Gratitude as a Gateway

Another gem from our session was the suggestion that gratitude could open the door to more joy for me. I’ve followed through with that and did an entire episode on how to embody gratitiude. This explains the new practice I’m using that has been incredbily helpful!

                  Healing an Ancient Betrayal

The next thing Cindy found and addressed was a difficult past life. She saw a lifetime where I practiced herbal magic and healing and was tragically betrayed by a mentor who turned out to be a dark witch. I was lured into a coven and sacrificed for my light. Heavy stuff, right?

Cindy immediately saw a powerful way to rewrite this devastating ending. She placed me in a radiant column of white light that actually revived me and scattered the entire group of women, never to regroup again. I loved how she shifted the image – so powerful, satisfying, and seriously empowering.

That betrayal explained so much about my current-day issues with trusting spiritual teachers and authority figures. That’s the kind of multidimensional healing Reiki offers.

                  Breaking Through the Crown

As we wrapped up, Cindy uncovered one last impediment – a heavy metal plate covering my crown chakra. Instantly, I remembered my first attempt at meditation years ago. A surge of purple light rushed in pushing down harshly on my head. My heart pounded and I could hardly breathe. It was intense… and a little terrifying.

Back then, I had no idea what was happening. I instinctively focused on my breath, trying to calm myself. Eventually, the sensations passed and I opened my eyes, shaken but okay.

Now, with Cindy’s insight, it all made sense. That iron plate had been blocking my crown chakra for decades. No wonder I’d felt spiritually stifled at times.

                  Soul Cleansing

This Holy Fire Reiki experience was so much more than a relaxing session. It was a deep, soul-cleansing adventure across time and space. From past-life healing to energetic upgrades, it reminded me that I am always being guided towards my best possible self.

If Reiki appeals to you, rely on your intuition when choosing a practitioner. You want to work with someone who feels safe, speaks your soul’s language and helps you feel seen and heard.

Whether you’re navigating grief, stuck energy, or simply craving spiritual upleveling, Reiki can transform the energy and gently lift you.

                • Crumble Vs. Shift – The Power Of Our Words

In a recent crossover podcast episode with my friend Melissa Oatman, host of Awaken Your Inner Awesomeness podcast, we got into a juicy conversation on the power of our words. It’s HUGE!

We explored how the words we speak, out loud and to ourselves, shape our reality. Words impact our energy and even steer our spiritual path. Let’s get into some of the highlights from this inspiring conversation.

The Power of Our Words Is Magic!

Words are like little spells. Whether you realize it or not, they carry energy which absolutely matters. Your language influences how you feel, what you believe, and even how things play out in your life.

Think about how often you throw around phrases like, “I’m drowning in work” or “This is killing me” or even “What a pain in the ass.” It might seem harmless, but those words can create an energetic echo that subtly starts shaping your reality.

This is where the law of attraction kicks in. The words you use are like seeds that take root in the subconscious. Over time, they grow into beliefs, feelings, and patterns—good or bad. That’s why being more intentional with what you say can create big shifts.

Even replacing a little self-deprecating humor or those habitual negative phrases with something more positive can totally change the vibe you put out into the world. Not only that, but also what you inviting back in.

Is It Really Crumbling? Or Just Shifting?

One topic Melissa and I dove into was the language being used right now, especially in the US spiritual community. There’s a lot of talk about how things are “crumbling”—our institutions, our systems, all of it. But is that really what’s happening?

What if, instead of saying things are falling apart, we say they’re shifting?

Words like “crumbling” tend to bring up fear. They can make us feel powerless, like everything’s slipping out of control. But shifting? That feels different. That feels hopeful, empowering, and even exciting. It frames change as evolution instead of destruction.

And no, this doesn’t mean we pretend everything’s okay. It just means we’re choosing to engage with what’s happening from a more empowered place. When speaking of transformation instead of collapse, you open yourself and others to curiosity, possibility, and new solutions.

Joy Is Powerful – Lift Your Vibe

No question about it – getting caught up in today’s heaviness is so easy. There’s a lot going on in the world, and it can drag you down if you let it. But here’s the thing to keep in mind –  joy is powerful. Gratitude is magnetic. They lift your vibe and ripple out to everyone around you.

Tapping into joy isn’t about turning away from the world’s pain—it’s about refusing to drown in it. When you focus on what brings peace, delight, and love, you raise your vibration. That energy matters. It helps heal, strengthens the light within, which becomes a gift you offer others without even trying.

Anchor the Light, Shine the Shift

When you choose words like “shifting” instead of “crumbling,” this choice creates a very real energetic shift. “Shifting” has the power of flow. It suggests movement, evolution, and growth. It helps lighten the emotional load and makes space for hope, ease, and inspiration.

Melissa and I aren’t pretending things aren’t hard right now. But we want to encourage you to be conscious and to hold a positive vision of what’s possible. This is how you can avoid getting stuck in fear and why it’s so important to remember the power of our words.

When you raise your own energy, you naturally invite others to rise with you. Language becomes a lighthouse drawing others toward a higher frequency. That’s where things feel more manageable and less overwhelming or frightening.

The beautiful part is when you consistently use words that uplift, you help create a more positive collective experience. You help nurture a space where growth, healing, and transformation can happen more easily—not just for yourself, but for your community too.

Who Is Winning – Dark Vs. Light?

                  Community, Healing & Support

Of course, staying hopeful all the time isn’t easy. That’s where community becomes even more important. You don’t have to do this alone. Whether you have a Reiki or energy healing, request intuitive guidance, or engage in any supportive tool, working with the right people makes a huge difference.

Melissa and I both offer healing sessions designed to help clear energy blocks, raise your frequency, and help you realign with your inner power. Healers need healing too!

We both did sessions for each other! Reaching out for support is exactly what clears the fog and helps you move forward with clarity, strength, and a more positive outlook. Melissa started singing her happy song by Shania Twain after her session ended, uplifting her energy and that of her home too!

                  Time to Crown Yourself

Here’s one of the most powerful takeaways from our conversation builds on my podcast last week with Allison Stillman talking about being a queen. It’s time to crown yourself. Not taking on more pressure or responsibility but claiming your own sovereignty. You are the authority in your own life. Choose how you show up, care for yourself, and share your light.

This kind of self-empowerment is based on alignment. It’s about showing up as your full self, caring deeply for your well-being, and using your words to support and nurture your path.

So yes, the power of our words is tremendous. When used intentionally, the right words help shape your life and a world filled with more kindness, light, and positive possibilities.

Go ahead and wear that crown. Speak with intention. Shine that beautiful light of yours, and help co-create a collective shift that feels expansive, loving, and filled with possibility.

                • It’s Time to Recognize You Are a Queen

Do you sometimes feel like you’re running on fumes, holding everyone else together while quietly unraveling inside? Change is upon us and it’s time to recognize you are a Queen!

What if I told you that your exhaustion isn’t weakness, but a summons from your higher self and the Universe?

                  A Soul Level Invitation

Feeling stretched to the limit is a soul-level invitation to remember who you really are. Because you weren’t meant to live bone-tired or feel invisible. You were meant to live as a queen. Not a ruler of others, but a sacred steward of your own energy, joy, and divine rhythm.

This is about being empowered and the crown is already yours. The only question is, will you recognize this and learn how to wear it?

                  Talking with Angels

Before we dive in, let me tell you a little about my guest. Allison Stillman has been talking to angels since she was a child. Of course, like many of us, she doubted herself at first. Were these voices real? Was she just making it all up?

Yet, she kept getting wild, undeniable signs. She’d ask the angels to show her something unmistakable to let her know she wasn’t making things up.

One time, while out swimming with the wild dolphins, she asked the angels to have dolphins leap from the water at the same time to prove they were with her. Then bam, two dolphins broke the water’s surface, tail flips and all.

Eventually, Allison stopped doubting. We all have guardian angels or celestial allies who want to help. But they won’t interfere or help unless you ask. Free will is the rule on planet earth.

So, if you want help, say it out loud. Invite them in. Your divine team is standing by at the ready!

                  A Sacred Pause

Recently, Allison took a sabbatical. She was told by spirit to rest, reflect, and stop working for a few months. She didn’t know it, but her angelic guides had a different agenda. This was a time for healing and leveling up for a new mission. Then, loud and clear they told her, “It’s time to reach more people in a bigger way with lots more love.”

Her timeout was more like a chrysalis or sacred recalibration, giving her a chance to say yes to a bigger mission.

New programs started flowing through her as she stepped fully into her own power and transformation. The new goal is to assist the rising collective. She has a hand in supporting ascension on earth, particularly for women.

Because let’s face it: the world is shifting quickly and those of us who are tuned in are being called to show up like never before.

Queen Energy Is No Longer Optional

In one surprising meditation, Allison was visited by none other than Queen Elizabeth II. Yes, that Queen! She’d never connected before. Did she speak of royalty and protocol? Nope, her message was very clear. It’s time to claim your own sovereignty and help other women do the same.

This is what queen energy is really about – taking care of yourself and feeling empowered. Being queenly is not ruling over others but learning to rule over yourself with wisdom, love, grace, and firm boundaries.

Queen energy is about remembering the truth of who you are before the world told you otherwise. Allison believes every woman carries the code of the queen inside her.

Wear the Crown – Say No Like You Mean It

Stepping into sovereignty starts with little things, like learning to say no when your body or intuition says no. Or choosing rest over people-pleasing and owning your life unapologetically.

Allison reminded us that one of the most queenly things you can do is… pause and say not to…

                  Things that drains you.

The person who takes and takes.
The old story that says you don’t deserve more or you aren’t good enough.

Every time you say no to what’s misaligned, you say yes to your magic, clarity, radiance, and true potential. It’s the reason you’re here. Being a queen is about raising your vibration and following a new way to move through life.

The Divine Feminine Is on the Rise

Right now, we’re experiencing a cosmic shift. The old structures built on domination and hierarchy are no longer working. They will be replaced by a new way, led by the divine feminine with love, compassion, and cooperation.

This energy is softer, yet fierce in a different way. The sacred feminine doesn’t seek to conquer. She wants to connect, support, and protect!

Whether you choose to see yourself as a priestess, goddess, or queen, you pick your flavor because it doesn’t really matter. The important point is that you try one of the titles on. Walk through the world like your presence alone changes the room. Because it does.

This is a time to remember how things used to be on earth, when women were reveered because we held the key to creation.

                  Make Yourself a Priority

You can’t lead, guide, love, or create if your well is empty. Queenly sovereignty begins with you. How you treat yourself and talk to yourself.

For example, get the massage, take a nap, or walk barefoot in the grass and feel the Earth supporting you. These aren’t indulgences, but esssential recalibrations of your frequency.

The more you nourish yourself, the more you can radiate that nourishment outward. That’s how queens lead properly, from that place of overflowing energy, brimming with goodness and light.

                  A Gift for You

Allison has a Free Gift for you to download – her ebook, How to Transform Your Life. It’s a gentle, yet powerful guide with one daily practice to align your energy with love. That’s the heart of what we talked about in this podcast.

To live as love,  breathe love, and let love rearrange your life from the inside out.

Imagine what would happen if millions of women stepped into their sovereignty? They’d be radiant, rested, and rooted in love. And the world would change. Maybe it already is.

So take this as your invitation. Pick up your crown. Dust it and make it really sparkly. Then wear it like you mean it. Own it girlfriend – the time is now!

                • Bees And The Sacred Feminine – What History Tried To Bury

                  - Here’s something they didn’t teach you in school – an ancient trail of secrets that features women as the sacred feminine and holding leadership roles.

In ancient times, bees were considered oracles, priestesses, messengers between worlds, and keepers of divine feminine wisdom. This is a role they played for millennia before being quietly buried by patriarchal conquest and religious rewrite.

So what happened? Why were bees once seen as divine and then later just…bugs? More importantly, what wisdom do bees still carry, waiting for you and me to remember?

                  The Forgotten Connection

Across cultures and continents, bees were once honored as sacred. Not just useful but sacred. They were linked to the Goddess, to feminine power, to creation, fertility, rebirth, and spiritual truth. From Ancient Greece and Egypt, to Celtic lands and Hindu temples, bees appeared in myth, ritual, and prophecy.

                  This is no coincidence.

Bee societies are matriarchal. The hive revolves around the queen. The hive survives because of the feminine — the worker bees who gather pollen and nectar to feed the community.

Bees pollinate, meaning they literally create life. And honey is the miraculous, sweet elixir — an alchemical product of collective feminine labor. Symbolically, the bee hive represents the power of feminine cooperation, nourishment, fertility, and transformation.

What Happened to the Sacred Bee?

Let’s rewind the clock. Long before Christianity or Islam or Rome, the Goddess reigned. Temples to the Great Mother dotted the ancient world. They honored her as Gaia, Inanna, Isis, Artemis, Brigid, Demeter.

These goddesses were often surrounded by bees, both real and symbolic.

In ancient Greece, Melissae were priestesses of the Goddess — literally named after bees. “Melissa” means “honeybee” in Greek. These women were oracles, wisdom keepers, providers of spiritual truth. They danced in spirals, hummed like bees, and served as channels between the seen and unseen worlds.

But starting in the late Bronze Age (1200 BCE), things began to shift. There were many causes including climate change, war, disease, and migrations of patriarchal, warlike tribes with sky gods and swords. Goddess-centered cultures were dismantled, their priestesses erased, and their temples destroyed.

Then came the Roman Empire. By the 4th century AD, Emperor Theodosius banned all “pagan” practices. Goddess temples were shut. The sacred flame of Vesta was extinguished and her priestesses disbanded.

Early on the Church had female clergy, but they too were banished. What had been divine was recast as primitive, dangerous and anything but Godly. But all was not lost.

                  Hiding in Plain Sight

History tried to bury these traditions, but they didn’t vanish. They went underground. A woman named Max Dashu began her life’s work in 1970, researching and documenting global woman’s history to rediscover the role of women in ancient societies.

Scotland’s Rosslyn Chapel is a church already steeped in mystery and rumored ties to Mary Magdalene. In 2010 during rennovations, workers discovered a hidden beehive replica tucked inside a pinnacle. It’s a secret shrine and a literal hive inside a Christian chapel!

Coincidence? Hardly. Bee symbology survived maybe not in public temples, but in folk tales, embroidery, old sayings, and stone carvings. Sacred knowledge doesn’t die. It hides and waits to be rediscovered.

                  A Global Sisterhood of Bees

Bees and the divine feminine are not just a Greek thing. The bee-goddess link shows up everywhere. Let me take you on a brief world tour.

In Ancient Egypt, bees were believed to be born from the tears of the sun god Ra. They symbolized cosmic order and were linked to the soul’s journey in the afterlife.

Babylon and Sumer –  the great goddesses Inanna and Ishtar were linked with bees and honey — representing transformation, fertility, and feminine power.

In the Hebrew Bible, the prophetess Deborah (whose name literally means “bee”) led armies and delivered divine guidance — a rare case of female spiritual leadership preserved in a patriarchal text.

India – the goddess Bhrami is often depicted with bees, and honey is one of the five sacred elixirs in Hindu ritual. In the yogic practice of Bhramari Pranayama — the “bee breath” — the hum of the bee is used to awaken inner energy and soothe the nervous system.

In Celtic traditions, bees were messengers from the Otherworld. Honey was sacred — used in rituals for healing and divination. The hive was seen as a symbol of perfect community since it’s cooperative, mystical, and wise.

This is a global spiritual pattern. One that points to something profound and feminine. Different lands, same story – the bee as sacred, feminine, and wise.

                  Bees Embody the Feminine Divine

Why have so many cultures linked bees with the divine feminine? Here are 6 reasons:

Matriarchal Structure: The queen rules the hive, with a small male population present only during mating season.

Pollination & Fertility: Bees help life bloom and bear fruit.

Creation & Transformation: Nectar becomes honey — like ordinary effort turned into divine sweetness.

Communication: Their sacred waggle dance mirrors infinity — and bridges the seen and unseen.

Cooperation & Harmony: A hive thrives not through domination but unity.

Buzz = Frequency: Their hum carries healing vibrations — a sacred song of the Earth.

Check out these two YouTube videos of bees buzzing in the hive and see if you feel the buzz in your own body like I did.

                  Sacred Bee Wisdom Today

Modern spiritual seekers are rediscovering the sacred bee and weaving it into spiritual practice.

Try adding these to your altar:

                  • Beeswax candles – for purity and transformation.
                  • Honey – for anointing your third eye or heart, or as an offering.
                  • Queen Bee figurine – to honor your sovereignty.
                  • Lavender, rose, or yarrow – bee-loving herbs as offerings.
                  • You can also try:

                    • Oracle cards: Pull from the Melissae Oracle or Bee Tarot.
                    • Meditation: Listen to hive recordings on YouTube. (I linked my favorites in the show notes.)
                    • Movement: Spiral, sway, and dance like the Melissae did.
                    • Goddess invocation: Call in Demeter, Artemis, Bhramari Devi, or simply the Sacred Feminine.
                    • In a meditation I listened to a bee buzz video and my guides told me:

“The hum reduces anxiety and syncs you with divine frequency. Let it raise your vibration. Let it help you remember you are part of the sisterhood. You are sweetness and power.”

                      The Sacred Feminine is Rising

We live in a time when bees are endangered, but this is more than ecological crisis. It’s symbolic. The sacred feminine has been endangered and suppressed. Thankfully, it hasn’t been totally destroyed or erased.

The bees are not just nostalgic symbols. They’re living metaphors.

They remind us that sweetness is strength and cooperation creates miracles. The fact is, sacred power doesn’t have to roar – it can hum and still nourish the soul and the world.

Reclaiming the bee is about reclaiming ourselves. To honor bees is to honor the divine feminine within you — your wisdom, your rhythm, your resilience.

Welcome back, priestess. The hive has been waiting for you to reclaim your sacred feminine.

                    • Level Up When You Embody Gratitude

Do you have a gratitude practice? Ready to level up? Here’s how to embody gratitude to heal yourself and the world.

                      Learning about Gratitude

When I first started coaching, I had a business coach named Teri. She was wise, firm, and not one to indulge negativity and panic. I’d show up to our sessions, ready to blurt out all the things that were going wrong.

Before I could launch into my dramatic monologue, she’d stop me cold. “First, tell me three good things you are grateful for.” she’d say. Ugh.

At the time, I wanted to strangle her.  I was barely keeping my head above water—what on earth was there to be grateful for? I was overwhelmed, not making enough money, and caught in a nonstop loop of “What if this never works?”

But that’s the thing, Gratitude doesn’t come naturally when you’re in a funk. It fact, sometimes it’s really it hard. That’s why it’s called a “practice.” At the time It felt like I was rolling down hill at a breakneck pace, never to climb up again.

                      Gratitude Practice

Looking back, I can see her brilliance. Teri wasn’t trying to be annoying, but teaching me to shift my energy. Honestly I haven’t always kept up with the practice, but there have been many times when I put this to use.

There isn’t much else that I have found that will shift my perspective to see what is actually working and that I almost always have plenty to be grateful for.

Even now, I still have to work on this. Gratitude isn’t a one-and-done deal. It’s a way of being and it improves your health. And recently, in a healing session, I was told something quite unexpected.

“You need to embody gratitude.” My first reaction was, “Um, what does that even mean?” Okay, time for more research!

                      What Does Embody Gratitude Mean?

To embodying gratitude goes far beyond saying, “Thank you'” checking off a list, or scribbling a few nice things in a journal. Certainly, these are great starters.

But for me right now, it’s time to level up. That means I need to allow the energy of gratitude to take up residence within me so fully that it reshapes my thoughts, my nervous system, and the way I walk through the world.

It’s time to start feeling gratitude in my bones, in my breath, in how I show up on a random Tuesday afternoon. I’ve been assured, when I get there, that’s when the big shifts will start appearing.

                      The High-Vibe You Want

Let’s start with this basic idea – Everything is energy. You. Me. The chair you’re sitting on. Your emotions. Even that pile of laundry staring at you from across the room.

Every emotion has a frequency. Low-vibe feelings like fear, grief, or frustration hum at a slower, heavier rate. But gratitude? That emotion buzzes at a much higher rate that puts you in the flow, where life feels easier and more aligned, and you become more magnetic.

When you embrace gratitude, you’re tuning up your whole energy field. You become a match for the other kinds of experiences that vibrate at that same high frequency such as joy, peace, abundance, and connection.

                      Gratitude Is Magnetic

The more you give thanks to Source, God, your angels, or higher self for what’s going well, the more things show up to be grateful for. Yup, like attracts like just as the Law of Attraction states.

This is the energy of co-creation. When you truly feel grateful and really feel it, you send out a signal that says, “Yes, please. More of this.” The Universe (or your higher self) is listening and responds.

You become like a lighthouse, glowing with gratitude. That’s when people, opportunities, ideas, and synchronicities start showing up at your door.

Here’s the key. This energy has to be real and authentic. You can’t force it, or fake it. You can’t sprinkle on a layer of gratitude like glitter and expect this level of magic. It only works when it’s genuine and grounded in the present moment.

                      When Gratitude Feels Impossible

Let’s be honest. Some days, gratitude feels about as natural as hugging a cactus. You’re in a bad mood. You’re tired. Someone cut you off in traffic again. And suddenly you’re expected to smile and feel thankful? Nope. It’s not happening. That’s OK.

Here’s what to say to yourself, “It’s OK to feel how I feel. And after I feel it and process a bit, then I will allow myself to shift gently to an upgraded energy where gratitude is once again possible.”

You don’t have to pretend everything’s amazing. Just look for one tiny positive spark. Even a flicker will help you soften hard edges and open to the higher frequency.

                      • The warmth of your coffee
                      • A funny text from a friend
                      • A smile from your child
                      • A moment of quiet that lasts longer than usual.
                      • Start with something small and let that moment open the door. Once you feel a whisper of true gratitude, the energy begins to move. Your field starts to clear and vibrate at a higher rate. You reconnect with the flow.

                        Gratitude’s Energetic Field

When you embody gratitude, you’re doing far more than boosting your mood. You’re transforming your entire energetic field. You are literally raising the vibe or signals you’re sending out into the world.

Have you ever walked into a room and felt instantly better just because someone was beaming? That’s embodied gratitude in action. That person isn’t just tossing out compliments—they’re radiating a frequency that uplifts everyone around them. There is a massive ripple effect. Yes, it’s contagious in the best way.

Gratitude lives in your heart and your aura, and when you anchor it deeply, people can feel it. They feel safer, lighter, and more drawn to your presence.

                        The Meaning of Embodiment

Let’s take a moment to clarify what exactly embodiment means from an energetic perspective.

Vibrational Alignment – Gratitude is an energy or frequency that you emit. When you focus on what is going right, even during challenges, you raise your vibration and attract more positive experiences according to the Law of Attraction.

State of Abundance – By embodying gratitude, you shift from a mindset of lack to one of abundance. This means appreciating what is already present in your life and feeling whole and complete, which in turn elevates your energetic state.

Present-Moment Awareness – Energetic gratitude is deeply connected to being present. By tuning into your senses and the sensations in your body, you allow gratitude to flow through you, creating a state of energetic openness and receptivity.

Co-Creation with the Universe –  From this perspective, gratitude is a bridge that connects you to the abundant intelligence of the universe. When you embody gratitude, you align with and magnetize the flow of blessings, opportunities, and abundance into your life.

Transformative Power – You become a source of good vibes, radiating positive energy that influences your reality and the people around you.

                        Gratitude Is a Sensation

This is where people get stuck. They think about gratitude instead of feeling it. Tune in, don’t think. Rather than mentally listing things, pause and ask yourself, “Where in my body do I feel a softening when I think of something good?”

Maybe it’s a taking a deep breath, letting out a big sigh, or feeling those goosebumps that let you know you‘re connected to spirit. That’s the energy of embodiment. That’s gratitude becoming embodied.

                        Embodied vs. Intellectual Gratitude

Thinking about something you’re grateful for and actually feeling grateful are two different things. Intellectual gratitude feels like a checklist, is often not emotional, and comes from the mind.

On the other hand, embodied gratitude, feels like warmth, expansion, or peace. It pulses out from your body and energy field and leaves you feeling nourished and connected.

Next time you’re “doing gratitude,” ask yourself, “Am I feeling this in my body, or thinking about it?” If you discover thinking, take time to tune in.

                        Gratitude Up Levels Your Vibe

When you begin to live from the vibration of gratitude, you become someone who attracts instead of chases. Someone who radiates instead of drains energy. Someone who walks through the world with presence, power, and peace.

You’ll notice conversations shift, small joys feel bigger, the right people show up and you feel steadier, even when things get bumpy. Everything won’t become perfect, but your energy is clear and your field is open. That’s you living in a state that welcomes miracles.

                        Cheat Sheet to Embody Gratitude

Slow down. Let your nervous system catch up with your mind.

Rely on your senses to be in the moment.
Breathe as a bridge to embody gratitude.
Let gratitude rise from the body, not the brain.
Radiate gratitude out to the world.
Remember it, even when you don’t feel like it.

To embody gratitude, you just tune into the higher frequency. Remember your power. The fastest way to reconnect with that energy is to feel the beauty and joy that’s already there.

Gratitude is the pulse of life flowing through you when you pause long enough to feel it. Take a breath and let gratitude lift you. You’re ready.

This week, don’t just breathe love and magic, breathe gratitude as well.
