Lincoln University’s newly appointed lecturer in arable crop production, Pieter-Willem Hendriks, was previously involved with research in Australia breeding wheat cultivars with greater early vigour. In this episode of Cut the Crop he tells Anna Heslop that this is just one approach being taken to breed wheat better able to compete with weeds.
