The Kosciusko Whippets football team hosted the Lions of Rosa Fort, out of Tunica, in the opening game of the Region IV-4A playoffs.

Although it was a close fight early on, it became more or a rout with the first half score being 51-10, Kosciusko. With a final score of 58-10, the Whippets move on to the next round of the playoffs.

Mylan Johnson and JT Herron were named the Autumn Ridge Players of the Game.  Now, that’s something to smile about!

For Leake County residents, organizers aim to provide essential groceries to those facing food insecurity due to delays or reductions in federal assistance programs.
