We’re back for a sort of soberish episode of the Brew Chatt Podcast. We’ve got long time friend of the show and comedian, Donnie Marsh, as well as comedian and actor, Courtney Cholovich. We’re talking about Bill Cosby getting released, the insanity of early Nickelodeon, sobriety, and dead open mics.

Tanner and Jared are back this week and joined by Jared’s brother Will. They’re covering some recent restaurant closings, and talking about some new stuff that’s dropped on Disney+ recently. Tanner recently found out he is probably gluten-intolerant, which throws an interesting wrench in this whole beer podcasting thing.

We’re back this week with another original Chattanoogan, Justin Lewis. He’s in Basstranaut, and runs Soup Sandwich. He shows us some amazing wine, and they drink the Terrapin Moo Hoo Imperial Stout. They talk about some of the drama that’s unfolding over the Exile on Main patio, NFTs, crypto nonsense, and more.

We’re back this week to try Bell’s Brewing’s new double New England IPA, and to talk to comedian Jeff Greenspan, of Carpet Bagger’s Comedy at The Bode Hotel. We’re talking about UFOs, Jeff getting comedy cancelled at Ziggy’s, and more.

A few ladies in beer take over the show this week; Sarah of Oddstory Brewing, LT of Five Wits, and Kim of Five Wits and the beer buyer for Pruett’s. They talk about Game of Thrones, favorite cheap beers, and the recent revelations in the beer industry from @ratmagnet’s Instagram post about sexism in the brewing and service industry.

We’ve got Chattanooga based comedians Matt Harris, Ben Dalby, and Andrew Ledbetter in studio this week. When this episode was recorded news had just started breaking about the outpouring of support for women in the service and brewing industry as well as Tired Hands Brewing’s owner stepping down, we touch on it a bit, but we’ll be doing a deep dive on the next episode. We are talking about the world opening back up, Ellen DeGeneres, and Germany cancels Oktoberfest for the second year in a row.

We’ve got local musicians Matthew Paul Revere and Marvin Shrum joining us this week to play a few songs, drink a few beers, and talk a few shits. We’re talking about Mongolian Metal, gas shortages, and amplifier tech.

This episode marks a special point for Brew Chatt and the world. The last “regular pre-pandemic episode” we recorded in the before times was with the dynamic duo of brewers Brian Bender and Scott Phillips of The Barley Mob Brewers Association. They were the last episode we recorded in studio before all of this Covid nonsense. We’re all vaxxed up, and we’re ready to taste some beers with the boys. We’ve got a great docket, and it’s great to catch up in person.

We’re back after a short hiatus and Tanner steps on down to Riverside Wine and Spirits to have a few beers with Tommy Lape, their resident beer guy.
