You know, everyone needs a little break every now and then, right? Well, we thought so, and Big Ern wanted to do an episode about non-alcoholic brews just in case folks needed a taste test on what would be good. So we saddled up in the ol' dungeon, and brought forth several of them for review.
In this episode, we sample O'Douls regular, Heineken 0.0, Busch NA, three different options from Surreal Brewing company (17-mile porter, Chandelier Red IPA, and Juicy Mavs Hazy IPA), and Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher.

On this episode, the BBR crew discuss the effect of can art in the process of possibly liking what that beer is. Let's give our local liquor stores a chance on what beers we pick, shall we?
Today we sample Fair State Brewing's Plant Based, Surly's Fresh Ink, Disgruntled's La Catrina, Bad Weather's Mythic Mongrel, Drekker's Pizza Toots, and Toppling Goliath's Sun Reaper.

Just in time for our BBR listeners to catch up on a little Irish Whisky experiment the week before St. Patrick's Day, we run the gauntlet with 5 different varieties. The first two are actually from the same brand; Jameson. One of them, however, is a stout cask version. We also samply Teeling Small Batch, The Whistler Double Oaked Small Batch, and West Cork's Bog Oak Charred Cask Single Malt. For the first time ever in the history of the podcast, we have to do a tiebreaker face off. Who do you think will be in it?

A reprise of our first episode recorded March 1st 2019, deleted because of how bad it was, but re-uploaded for your listening pleasure. Enjoy, and thank all of you for listening for a year!
A great man once said, "There are two rules to remember if you wanna have a good time. Rule number one, never run out of Colt 45. Rule number two, never forget rule number one." Well, Mr. Williams, we believe you just enough to have a podcast episode about just about that. Malt liquors, or fourties as a couple of us called them in high school (er, um, COLLEGE! Yeah, College!). In this one we sample Steel Brewing Company's High Gravity 211 Steel Reserve, Old English HG800, Colt 45, DrumConRath's Bison Brew, and Mickey's. The end of this one might be a little rough...

When Nox feels like doing a bottle /can share, how can anyone argue? He collected 7 for the podcast to sample and talk about, and we invited Blake to sit in and give his thoughts as well! In the one we sample Drekker's Nightman Cometh and it's four other variants with coconut and vanilla beans, Oreo cookie and vanilla beans, and peanut butter and marshmallow. We also sample Disgruntled's "It's Pecan Not Pecan" pecan porter with maple, Firestone Walker's XXIII Anniversary Ale, and finishing up with Surly's 13 maple barrel-aged imperial milk stout with vanilla beans and lactose.

Ya know, sometimes when you live across the street from your co-host, you get an urge to just sample and record. So that's what we did in this little short shot of an episode. Big Ern and Nox sample and chat about Firestone Walker 2019 Mole Merkin, Brewing Projekt Double Vanilla Resist Milkshake IPA, Bumbu XO Reserve rum, Brewing Projekt's Sowwa Smash, and Blackstack's Projecting Triple IPA.
