In true BBR fashion we decide to tackle the topic of summer crushable beers that you could hammer back. Nox kept it at 5%abv or lower as the only solid rule, the rest was up for debate. We invited Cousin Torry back down to the dungeon, along with Beau F. the label master at Swing Barrel Brewing (and Beau's Arthole) along with Scott and artist Kris, to discuss the topic of summer crushables, and have a good time doing it!
In this episode we sample and review Hofbrauhaus Seission Lager 3.3, a pair from Leinenkugels including their Session Helles and their Summer Shandy, Rolling Rock, DCR Brewing's Kolsch and the Gang, three from Portage including their Zero Day Lager, their Coffee Cake Blonde Ale, and their Abstract Substance Table Beer, also sampling O'Dell's Good Behavior Crushable IPA, and finally Mich Ultra Lime & Prickly Pear.

Holy smokes, neighbors! We finally get the chance to dive into some Mezcals in this show! We are by no means experts since we are smack dab in the middle of the North American continent and have a limited supply here, so we enlisted Evan from Bridgeview Liquors (one of our sponsors) to come on and drop a little knowledge to us and to you! We also invited local game show host Dick Wrinkle into the dungeon for the first time!
In this episode we sample and review Monte Alban Mezcal Con Gusano, 2 from Yuu Baal including their Espadin and their Artesenal Pechuga, Koch El Espadin, Burrito Fiestero, Banhez Espadin and Barril, and Cruz De Fuego.

"Stouts in the summer" you ask? Why would the BBR crew do that? Because we have to make room in the fridge for more beer, and Nox has been cellaring these for while and wanted to see how that might have changed the flavors! In this episode we have first time guests Holly L. and long time fan and supporter Adam G., as well as returning guest Don K.!
Today we sample and review Founder's CBS and KBS stouts, Lupulin's Lateralus, and Surly's Fourteen, and three Darkness variants: Double Vanilla Darkness, Vietnamese Coffee Darkness, and Mole Darkness.

Being as the BBR crew are from the Midwest, it should come as no surprise our love for things wheat. In today's episode we get down in the dirt and drink some fantastic wheat beers while having a gaggle of guests in studio!

In this special Cask Finish vertical episode of BBR, the crew takes on the latest Thomas S Moore (2021) releases with the Chardonnay/Cabernet Sauvignon/Port wine barrel finishes, along with Blood Oath pacts 6 & 7. We sample these fine whiskeys with comedian Nathan Roe while discussing the merits of tandem unicycles and other such oddities.
We then finish up LAST CALL style with Junkyard's Appropriate Moment fruited mixed culture sour.

Welcome to another exciting edition of Brews, Booze, & Reviews! On today's show, we invited an admin from the facebook group North Dakota Bourbon Drinkers, Nick Hornbacher, to the studio to discuss such topics as bourbon aging requirements, neck pours, letting your glass breathe after your bourbon pour, and the practice of bourbon allocations and the dreaded secondary market.
In this episode we tackle a topic Chris has been itching to do for MONTHS! Buffalo Trace's Mashbill #1. To do this episode right, we sample and review the White Dog Mash #1, Benchmark, Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select from Bottle Barn, Eagle Rare 10 year Single Barrel Select from Happy Harry's, E.H. The BBR crew sat down with Jordan Everaert, owner and head brewer/distiller over at Bismarck Brewing, to chat about how he got started brewing, the history behind BB, and what he has planned next!
Of course we sampled some brews and chatted them up a bit! Welcome to another exciting edition of BBR! In this show we invited Travis G. and Cousin Torry over to rate some ounces of Wild Turkey bourbons!
In this episode we sample and review Longbranch, Russel's Reserve 10 year, WT 101, Kentucky Spirit, Russel's Reserve Single Barrel, and Rare Breed. While we were sipping on these, we decided we needed some doubly American side beers to go with, so we chose Lupulin's American Pils American style pilsner.
