Russ flew solo to sum up a bad night in Geordieville and to round up the latest from the EFL playoffs and beyond, in between which we were delighted to have Rebel Yell podcaster and Worthing FC match commentator for the fans! Peter Vale back on the pod to tell us all about The Rebels’ fantastic efforts in their first ever season at non-league Step 2 (National League South).
Stand or fall! UTA! Up The Rebels!

What a glorious day! The sun was out, the sky was blue & white and The Seagulls were on song, as we only went and did it again! It’s now TWO wins at title-challengers Arsenal this season (League Cup and now Prem) as we exorcised our Dyche demons 👿 in some style by weathering a challenging first half to romp home 0-3 in Islington.
An array of contributors gave their thoughts before and after, in between which we captured the atmosphere inside The Emirates - and WHAT an atmosphere!
Thanks to Arsenal fan Richard for joining in the pre match chat too.
Stand or fall! UTA! BHAFC have Eurovision!

One of those days! All things aligned to make a perfect storm that rocked Albion on a crazy Bank Holiday Monday. Everton produced an impeccable performance and carried out their game plan to immaculate perfection to stun the Falmer faithful. We were Dyched!!!

Yes, on the Ep we celebrated Russell’s new concept, St.Nigel’s Day - the day upon which it became mathematically impossible for the great unwashed from Slumhurst to overtake us in the current season. May the 4th be with you lads (yes it was Star Wars Day too so something of a total eclipse of the heart one might say!
However it was as good as done already thanks to a vastly superior goal difference - not the only thing vastly superior about our team over theirs.
And as if that wasn’t enough, we only went and beat England’s most over privileged team with a last second penalty to complete a historic first double over these VARstly entitled bunch of whatsits to ram their gloating fans’ songs right back down their throats for good measure.
What a moment! What a night!
Experiencing the fun we’re The Gent, Alan, Dunc, Tim, Andys Bravery and Bass, Alan Wares, Ahmed, Alison, Sheebo, Chris and Russ’s seat neighbour Kevin.
Stand or fall! UTA! Mac, Man Of Steel

Pete and Russ in the house reviewing a very happy day at The Amex, with Sheebo cameo!
We’ve seen hat-tricks before but never a hat-trick of braces! It was a record breaking win for the Amex and for Albion as a top flight side. Happy, happy days!

Joining co-hosts Russ and Pete on the pod this week was Raymond “The Gent” Wright to reflect on Sunday’s disappointment and on the disastrous result from the City Ground on Wednesday night.
On the upside, new contracts were signed by two of Albion’s brightest young prospects this week and news emerged of an exciting new signing in the offing for this summer.
There is also a summary of all the latest happenings up and down the professional leagues of England and some observations of other matters occurring this week.
Stand or fall! UTA! Back to business!!!!

We were delighted to welcome back to the pod former Albion player Gordon Smith to recount stories from his time fondly spent at the club in the 1980s and of course to talk about that fateful cup run to Wembley in ‘83, on the occasion of a Wembley rematch against that year’s opponents Man U in this weekend’s Semi Final clash.
We then spoke to Sanjay Bhandari, chair of Kick It Out and an avid Red Devils fan, to tell us what’s been happening with his work since last we spoke and to give us his opinions of the huge match this Sunday.
In the pod squad this week to chat to our guests and on other matters besides were Russ, Pete, Alan and Andy Bravery.
Stand or fall! UTA! Welcome to the Top 50, Roberto!!!

***WARNING***
This episode contains a duo of rather naughty ‘C’ Bombs in its first 90 seconds, courtesy of the academic known as Dr Knott! There’s also a bit of ‘f’ and ‘w’ action! Apologies to those of a more genteel disposition!
