“Yes. Yes. The plot. The plot.” We went and saw “The Housemaid” again! And this time we took Hammer and Gibbler with us to get their take on it. It was just as good a time as the first go around if not better. Now you get four opinions instead of two!

“Is that a live pineapple?” Since three out of four us were sick on Christmas Eve… Vee decided she wanted to make us all a very healthy chicken soup for the holiday dinner. It was great! We had soup, did gifts and talked shit… You know how it is with us! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! Enjoy the episode!

“The batshit doesn’t fall far from the batshit tree.” As promised in the last episode… we went and saw “The Housemaid” and had quite a lot to say. Just based on the trailer we felt it was a bit Colleen Hoover’s “Verity” coded… but soooo much better! Starring Amanda Seyfried, Sydney Sweeney, Brandon Sklenar and Michele Morrone this movie was well worth going to see.

“Don’t be a dick.” We never noticed but we’ve (Ernie & Vee) just realized that we have yet to have an episode with just us before. Fifty plus episodes in and finally a one on one conversation! The podcast is called “Bring Your Own Weird with Ernie & Vee” after all. We talk about a lot of stuff in this one while we kill time waiting for our movie to start at our local movie theater. We went and saw “The Housemaid” which we’ll be talking about in the next episode. But in this episode we go from our problems with getting our website up and going, the other ways you can reach us, our joy of painting, who would we Marry, Fuck, Boyfriend Marvel edition, politics, reading, reading smut books, and the cuntiness of Jk Rowling. Enjoy!

“Lightning really does strike twice.” We went to yet another surprise mystery movie at our local theater and it was “Song Sung Blue” starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. A real life love story about Thunder and Lightning a Neil Diamond experience. It comes out in theaters on December 25th. It’s a true story so like another mystery movie we went and saw (episode 48) it’s not really a spoiler alert type situation but kinda is… so proceed as you need to for listening to this episode!

“I’m so glad we saw that!” Our season 5 premiere is the delightful movie “Bugonia” starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons. Is she or isn’t she an alien? Is he or isn’t he batshit fucking crazy? This keeps you guessing all throughout the whole thing… even when his detached head flies out of the closet and headbutts her in the face… and even then you still kinda don’t know. Oh, what a delightfully weird little movie this was! We loved it so much and we think you will too!

“I have her phone! Hee hee hee!” Our season 4 finale! We’re discussing Selena Winters’ book “Carnival Nightmare.” While on a road trip to go get our hair done we decided to talk about this book so that’s your heads up that there’s gonna be road noise. And yeah… we make an hour and a half long road trip every couple of months to get our hair done because our hair stylist is that fucking good! You’re AWESOME, Nicole! Moving on… “Carnival Nightmare” is a dark stalking romance written by Selena Winters and it’s a part of her Carnival series… obviously! It’s got lots of stalking, lots of sex, lots of murder and mayhem! Everything a good dark romance needs!

“Was it… Father?!” We saw “Predator: Badlands” and we loved it! Definitely one of our top favs in the franchise. Lots of “daddy issues” and it would appear possible “mommy issues” as well… I fucking hope so! That’s how they left it open for another movie and I hope they tap Sigourney Weaver to play Mother!

“It’s Barbara.” We saw this in the theater twice! That’s how much we liked it. And just like the first one… the actress who played the sister should get all the awards! Her name is Madeleine McGraw and she kicked this movie’s ass! Ethan Hawke is back as “The Grabber” and Mason Thames is back as “Finn” battling it out once again.
