This week’s episode covers the most famous celebrity of our millennial generation - Britney Spears. Truth be told, there is so much to be discussed on Britney - from how she became the biggest popstar in the world, to her “messier” moments (5150, multiple marriages, public scandals and crises), and of course - the conservatorship.  Of course, not all of this could be covered in a single episode.  So, today’s episode discusses her upbringing and the familial trauma both she, and multiple generations before her, endured. Researching this episode gave me a TON of empathy on why she is the way she is, and why she may have been doomed from the start as it pertains to being predisposed to mental illness.
