Of all the miracles that Jesus performed, it is interesting that few were done the same way. He wasn’t following a formula, rather the demonstrations of His power put His glory on display and gave people a reason to believe in Him.

For the most part, we are not good wait-ers. Waiting and being delayed are more than a little bothersome to us. But the interruption and delay in Jesus’ procession at the end of Luke 8 resulted in the healing of two unclean females. God does far more and far better with His timetable than we do with ours.

God uses clean vessels. We don’t try and live righteous lives to earn salvation; we try to live a good, holy, clean life because that’s the person God likes to use. And here’s some really good news: You can be that person…if you want to be.

Why did Jesus and His disciples sail across the Sea of Galilee, in a horrific storm, just to land in a place where they are going to leave in a matter of moments and then sail right back to where they came from? Why go to such lengths? Because the Savior had a soul to save. He would go that far for you, too.

A Roman Legion consisted of 6,000 soldiers. Today we meet a man who calls himself Legion because of the overwhelming multitude of demons inside of him. He is the picture of the devastating effects of lostness on a person. He shows us on the outside what it looks like on the inside for a person without Jesus in his life. And it is a terrible condition.

When Peter healed the man begging alms at the Gate Beautiful just outside the Temple, he let everyone know that this man’s life had been transformed by the power of the resurrected Jesus. This same Jesus has the capability of forgiving you, restoring you, and making you fully whole.

The Message of Easter is the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. It’s not about bunnies – bunnies can’t change your life. It’s not about colored, hidden eggs – eggs can’t change your life.
