Pastor Ryan uses references in Scripture to help us, the Body, understand the importance and place of baptism in our spiritual lives. Using passages from I Corinthians, Galatians, and Romans, we learn of Christ's command to be baptized as an outward expression of our inward transformation, making the "Gospel visible", stirring up faith in ourselves, and in others.

In a world driven by selfishness and vanity, Christ calls us to to follow His lead in humble service. Pastor Luke explores Phillipians 2 that exhorts and proclaims this theme, this call from our Christ.

When Jesus returns, of a Scriptural certainty three things will happen: there will be resurrections, there will be judgements, and there will be new Heavens. Pastor Ryan leads us through I For. 15 and Rev. 20, 21 for a revealing of these three truths.

What is Jesus doing, right now? How is He helping us with His Kingdom work? What does He want us to receive regarding His Second Coming? When will He come? WHY does he tarry? What is He waiting for?

Pastor Ryan uses scripture to help us realize some of the answers to these questions, and what we are to do as we wait for His return.

Who is the Holy Spirit? How does He proclaim Jesus? What is He doing, right now? How do we acquire his power? How does He unite us in the Body? Pastor Symps spends time with us, to help explain what the Scriptures say about God the Holy Spirit. John 5 is our Scripture for today.

Pastor Ryan preaches on the lasting ministry of Jesus, sending His Holy Spirit into the world, to heal division, and to empower and send out His Church.

Acts 2:1-13 is our Scripture for today.

We focus on the first recorded martyr for Jesu: Stephen. We look at Acts chapter 7, where we read of his testimony, and his martyrdom (vs. 51-60), where he receives a "gift" from God - the revelation of what we learned last week: Jesus is indeed at the right hand of the Father. Stephen's life (and death) is a model for us to follow, to do that which is right in God's plan for us in Kingdom-building, until our spirits, like Stephen's and His Lord before him, are lifted up to the Father.

The Gospel writer Luke writes, in the book of Acts, that "the first book (Luke) dealt with all that Jesus began to do and teach...." (Acts 1:1). Clearly, Jesus' work was not finished when He ascended into Heaven, as Pastor Ryan explains. If Jesus is not finished, then what is Jesus doing right now? We look at Acts 1:6-11 for evidences of Christ's continued ministry towards us.

Worship Pastor Luke Ash brigs God's Word to us today, concentrating on a great challenge of trust presented to Ezra, challenged to demonstrate how much he trusts the Lord God's providence to Artaxerxes, king of Persia. How does Ezra prepare Israel for their return to Jerusalem, seeking and knowing God's plan, step by step? What can we learn from this historical event, and apply it to our lives during these challenging times?

Ezra 8:21-32 is our Scripture passage.

Luke 24:13-35 is the beautiful account of the Risen Jesus meeting two of His disciples on their way back to Emmaus. Here our Jesus demonstrates a great teaching, based on Moses and the Prophets, showing them the reality of the Messiah, who "had to suffer these things and enter into His glory".

Pastor Ryan shares how this reality, that this resurrection power, is real, and through this Great Salvation power "sad things will become untrue".
