Pastor Symps encourages us with Habakkuk's exhortation, using God's word to help us "see with His invisible eye"; His vision will make us victorious, making this n New Year God's Year!

-an exhortation on God's work in the New Year. Pastor Ryan also shares with us some of what God has in store for BCC for the year ahead.

Pastor Ryan gives a devotional New Year's sermon on Matthew 2:1-12, using the famous Nativity Scene as a tool for proclaiming Jesus and His Lordship. What's wrong with the Manger scene? What is right about the Manger scene? Find out!

A devotional message appropriate for our Holy Day of Christmas. Pastor Ryan shares about Joseph, obedient in his role involving the birth of our Savior - he is commanded, in Matthew 1:18-25, to call his son two names; Jesus (Savior!), and Immanuel (God with us!). We celebrate these two precious titles yet today. Merry Christmas from BCC.

Our final sermon in this series! How appropriate that the birth of Jesus, unforeseen and unhoped-for by the Teacher, came directly from and by God, and it changed everything! The five proofs of "hevel" in our world are challenged, answered, and conquered by this magnificent gesture by God Himself - He became flesh, and dwelt among us, and saved us! Hallelujah!

"The Not-So-Wise Men" , a Christmas play presented by our youth group (Entourage), telling the story of two "extra" wise men, late to the birth of Jesus, but meet Him nonetheless.

Pastor Ryan concludes our series in Ecclesiastes with two sermons that provide a "rebuttal" to the "Hevel" that the Teacher relayed throughout the book. We are introduced to a new character, the "Editor", who provides a summary of the Teacher's resigned position, and indicates what was never tried. God miraculously intervenes in the inevitable vanity of our life under the sun, and gives us His Love, the Love of the Gospel message.

We are close to the conclusion of our series, and Pastor Ryan addresses the advice of the Teacher in using religion and piety to "un-hevel" our lives. Discussed are the dangers of relying on religion and piety to make us righteous, and the true fix that is found in the Gospel News and our devotion to it..and Him.

Ecc. 9:1-3 is our springboard for this message.

Pastor Symps enjoins us to consider the third suggestion the Teacher gives to combat Hevel in our lives - wealth.

All the wealth in the wold will not buy you what you truly need, but fear not: God is greater than gold and glory!
