Pastor Ryan delivers a message on Psalm 133; he shares how THIS Psalm gives us two images of unity - the oil and the dew - how unity across divisions is a result of the Gospel, and a demonstration thereof.

How then should we respond to this Good News (as shown in the Psalm)?

Guest Pastor Tony Opliger joins us today, and continues our series on the Psalms of Ascent. He explains how the Psalms serve as our Godly model, to recall the great things God has done for us, and then to cry out to Him do it again...and again!

Psalm 126 is our scripture for today.

Pastor Ryan gives a cogent exposition on Psalm 125, sharing what the Word says about who we are (people of faith and hope), what we are to do (trust our Lord!), who we are to be wary of (living under bad leaders) and when we are to trust God (faithfully, all the time!).

Pastor Symps compares two of the Psalms of Ascent, not. 127 and 128, discussing the matter of "feverish work" (working outside God's will) and "rest and effortless work" (working under the dependence of God's strength). He shares the truths of these two Psalms, exploring what is true prosperity and true surrender.

Pastor Ryan preaches on Psalm 131, a short psalm with long thoughts. God gives us limitations; we try hard to step outside of them (as did Adam and Eve), but to live within these limits, that are a gift from God, will yield further gifts - - joy, rest, and peace.

Missionary, preacher, and fellow BCC member Ernest Weaver delivers our message today, continuing the series on Psalms of Ascent by focusing on proper worship as indicated by our Lord in Psalm 134. The sermon even ends with Ernie sharing a hymn offering for us, "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross".

Pastor Ryan continues our "journey" through the Psalms of Ascent, concentrating on Psalm 121 - the Lord is our Righteousness as we journey with, for and to Him. Pastor Ryan focuses on three spiritual realities: admit that we need His help, look in the right direction for this help, and then TRUST in the help that He has given us.

Today we begin a new series on the "Psalms of Ascent" (Psalms 120-134). Pastor Symps inaugurates the series with a study of Psalm 124, providing us with three critical observations of the Psalm that shows that the Lord is truly dependable, and saves us from despair and defeat - our hope is in the NAME of the Lord!

Pastor Ryan concludes our series on i John today, using John's own summary in the epistle (I John 5:13-21), refreshing our focus on what we, as God's children, can know FOR SURE!
