Into the next three chapters we go. Pastor Ryan focuses on Eph. 4:1-6 as he expounds upon Paul's careful instructions on applying the faith and grace we have as promised by the Lord in Chap. 1-3. We now receive instructions from the Holy Spirit, giving power for tangible applications of so great a grace we have, "making the invisible visible".

So called because it is the apex of Paul's second prayer for the Ephesians, where in chapter 1 Paul wished for us to believe in the power ascribed to us through Christ Jesus, in Chapter 3:13-20 Paul's prayer is for us to apply this power! Pastor Rick shares five specific blessings ascribed to those who act on God's powerful promises in Christ given to us to do His will.

Emphasizing Ephesians 3, Pastor Ryan exhorts us towards the power of the Church of Jesus Christ, because it IS the of the Plan of the Father! We are joint heirs, Jew and Gentile, the object of His manifold grace, in accordance to His eternal wisdom, this Church, the mystery of the ages!

Continuing our Ephesians series, Pastor Ryan concentrates on Ephesians 2: 1-10. Here we compare the spiritual reality of how different we are between B.C. (before our conversion to Christ) and A.D. (after we trust Him as Lord and Savior. In His Kingdom, our ministry now is to "make the invisible become visible" by being living testimonies of grace and boldness in good works for His glory.

Pastor Ryan continues through the Bible, but begins a short concentrated series in Ephesians, concentrating on God's intent for His Church to serve and fulfill His mission for the world. Ephesians 1: 1-10 is the Scripture passage for today.

Synchronized with the "Revive Indiana" project taking place in Fort Wayne, Pastor Ryan shares about Paul's final (and in truth, ongoing) mission; that of Rome. Pastor Ryan uses Paul's final documented goals, indeed the Lord's plan, as expressed in Acts 28, as an example for all of us to get the Church OUT into the world (not IN to a building). This short sermon is unusually truncated, serving as a prelude to the Poland and South Asia missions commissioning and Revive Indiana testimonies that followed.

Pastor Rick shares from Acts 17, 18, and 20, along with supporting context from I Peter 1 and II Tim. 2. The Church at Thessalonica, according to Acts 16, 17, "turned the world upside down!" As Pastor Rick explains, a cursed man in a cursed world fits just fine, but introduce Truth, and things will get upset! John 3:19 - men love the darkness..... and hate the truth.

Pastor Ryan shares from Acts Chap. 15, 16 to discourse on the early church's deliberations regarding the Gentiles, life-altering decisions that would clarify their faith in the saving grace of Jesus as the ONLY source of salvation. This same grace must be exercised in today's Church as it was in Jerusalem; as we engage in mission, we must be loving, yet distinctive in our obedience to God.

The testimony of the new Church in Antioch, its make-up and how it so amazingly looks like the present mission field that our world is becoming; here is where the term "Christian" originated, here is where the seat of Gentile outreach began, and here is where we found a model of church community, prayer and mission that stands as a convicting model for us to follow today! Pastor Ryan explores Acts 11 and 13 for today's sermon.

We take a detailed look at the conversion of Cornelius ... and of Peter, as God continues His plan for the Messiah to be Savior of the world, not just Israel. Pastor Ryan shares on God's mission, which is our calling, how the Holy Spirit goes before us, and how to say "yes" to God's plan to use is to reach all. Acts 10 is our bible focus for today.
