What cars do you the viewer predict will be future classics?  To be held in the same regard as Mk4 Supras, Corvettes, and the like?  We discuss the same, with Adam's prediction being obviously four ringed in nature.  If you're part of law enforcement, mute your headphones for the segment following where we discuss the trials and tribulations of NY's front license plates.  We answer an engine-related question from one of our listeners, and go for some trivia.

In Part 2, we round out the trivia with a splash of what grinds our gears.  An impromptu discussion of cars in songs (...?) leads us into Nissan's new Z - the 2022 sports car successor to the venerable 350z and 370z.  Adam then talks about his experience in his brother's Tesla Model 3, with an unlikely topic of diesel engines (and their emissions systems) in between.  We round out the episode with a fun segment where we talk about famous vehicles both in reality and in fiction, and we let the world know what would be in our fantasy garages.

This was clearly a question episode.  In Part 1, we hammer out for sure what's more desirable - having a fast car that you can never truly drive to its limits, or a slow car that you can max in everyday life.  We answer a question posted to our Facebook, and discuss what aesthetic mods we see the most, and whether they're good mods or bad mods.  Don't ask about the episode thumbnail though.

Part 2 we talk about the philosophical question of whether we should be totally inclusive of car style (including Stance Nation) or whether some styles are forevermore unacceptable.  Volkswagen's choice in new engine development gets talked about, and we discuss what makes a dealership experience great.  We round out this week's episode with a boatload (carload?) of trivia, and the weekly mention of the ever-lovely Chrysler Pacifica.

In Part 1 of this episode, Bruce gets a big fat "F" on his homework assignment from last week.  Then commences a deep dive on Car Culture and what it means to be a part of it - recognizing modified cars on the road, talking to strangers about their ride, and what makes our cars unique.  We also discuss the tradition of anthropomorphizing cars by giving them names, enter a solid rant about owners of nice cars that never drive them, and talk about Adam's experiences with the legendary GM Smoke Monster.

Part 2 leads us into the discussion of vehicular superstitions - punch bugs, padiddle, sketchy car situations, and the like.  Then we test our knowledge and go through, count 'em, two rounds of "Guess That Car" - see if you can guess the car before we do.  Following that, another staple of the podcast, what grinds our gears.  Then we round out this episode with another example of the Magic of Editing.

The Pilot episode. The episode where you come to find out if the hype was worth the wait. In this episode Adam, Bruce, and Aaron take an introductory stroll through the car world.

In the first half, we talk about what grinds our gears when it comes to other drivers on the road, Ford's new pushrod V8, and Dodge's general insanity. We follow up that craziness with some talk about Tesla, the electric car industry, and an impassioned discussion of features that used to be found in older cars that have been lost over time in the cars of today.

In the second half, we discuss the merits of leasing a car versus buying, Cadbury Eggs for some reason, and naturally we experience a first-episode case of technical difficulties. We round out the episode with predictions on what features we expect to become more common as the car industry progresses, how the three of us got into cars, and Bruce gets a homework assignment.
