This week on Stu­dio 393: Bro­ken Head­phones Pod­cast we have Win­nipeg based, Hip Hop artist Len Bowen. Cur­rent­ly releas­ing music with the @fourthquarterrecords imprint. Len is a cor­ner­stone of Winnipeg/​Prairie and Cana­di­an Hip Hop. As a found­ing mem­ber of Shades Of Black he helped to bring the whole coun­try to Cen­tral Park; The High Tow­ers, Knox Church, The back­yard of Dino’s and Portage Place. All of that. They had one of the first rap videos released from the city and one of the first rap albums released from Peg City. His flows always been intri­cate and fun to fol­low. The Breakz w/​@katyaharkavyi is his cur­rent sin­gle as its helped to put his lat­est EP w/​@bbs.steve on Cam­pus charts everywhere.

@sappfyre had the chance to inter­view @mahlet.c (Rind/​Col­lec­tive Pat­terns) . Mahlet talks of @justice4blackliveswinnipeg June 5 ral­ly and what else needs to hap­pen for goals to be met.
