We are in the midst of get­ting ready for #Wall­ToWall­W­PG. This week’s radio show guests is @david_mc_cloud, The GM of NCI FM. He sat down with our par­tic­i­pants as we had a dis­cus­sion on sub­mit­ting music that is ready for radio play and over all pro­fes­sion­al­ism as a per­former. He has been back­ing the pro­gram and its par­tic­i­pants from Time. We’ll sprin­kle in his words of wis­dom from week to week. Real­ly good advice.

One of our favourite men­tors returned to 393 on Mon­day night. Ade­line Bird (@soulunex_ ) shared expe­ri­ences of help­ing to cre­ate her new film ​“Nap­py Hair and An Eagle Feath­er.” She is a dynam­ic sto­ry teller that sees the val­ue draw­ing from expe­ri­ence to tell the vast array of sto­ries from a com­mu­ni­ty. We are not mono-cul­tures. The world needs to see all angles. Inter­view airs this Weds 11pm on @umfm1015. A great dis­cus­sion with Taya, Dana, and Osani. Stay tuned. 2pm on Thurs­day, the film shows Cin­e­math­eque. A school project that has us walk­ing to the next chap­ter of iden­ti­ty and sto­ry telling.

@genieboss of @bossdanceacademy is our spe­cial guest on @umfm1015 this week. 11pm on Wed. We get to hear about the mak­ing of his film ​“Our Scene”. Almost a year he fol­lowed the Win­nipeg Hip Hop asso­ci­at­ed dance scene to track +20 years of evolv­ing. 500 hrs of video. He speaks to a dancer from ​’82. @ourscenethemovie pre­miers Jul 28 @wag_ca. Dana con­ducts a great inter­view. Plus some tunes from the Stu­dio 393 yutes and some local cats.
