Welcome to Brownology

Do think the way we make sense of mental health doesn’t quite fit with the South Asian experience? When you try to explain your struggles to a professional, they just don’t get it. I am Dr Tina Mistry, a UK trained Clinical Psychologist and I have struggled with this for years. This podcast is where we can deconstruct and decolonise South Asian mental health. We know the factors that impact mental health issues are complex, so let’s spend some time reflecting on the things that may not always be included in mainstream conversations.
