There are a million ways to communicate with people. Text. Phone. Messenger. Social Media.  But, is that a good or bad thing? Jen and Nicole discuss the exhaustion of communicating on this week's That's What We Said Podcast. It seems now more than ever it's actually more difficult to connect with others.

But, they’re not so secret as gut instincts are\ all about science. Who knew the stomach has so many nerves? Jen and Nicole definitely did not.  And let’s not (even though they will) talk about what imbibing does to going with your gut. 

Before they chat through all the science, they give listeners their take on Outer Banks, the most interesting Selling Sunset romance and their mutual love for Chesapeake Shores and all Jen’s travels. 

After a brief hiatus for travels, Jen and Nicole are back for this week's That's What We Said Podcast where the two go through their travels and everything in between.  From NJ, Baby Showers, Newport and Buffalo - the duo had the Northeast on lockdown throughout the last month.

Before travel and lifeupdates, they kick things off chatting through #FreeBritney and how she should come on their podcast, and how the American icon deserves her money and some freedom.  They also give their take on the latest Southern Charm drama, with former cast mate Naomi left heartbroken.  Is sexting cheating? Listen in to see if the two give their POV on if it's worse than physical cheating.  They round out the episode chatting through Netflix's new hot show Sex Life, whether that package is real and quick update on Nicole's dating life.  It's been a whirlwind of let downs and flakes but she's staying on the saddle.

The world moves fast and sometimes you need to check yourself as self awareness is a very powerful tool in life. In this week's That's What We Said Podcast, Jen and Nicole reflect on how self aware they are, as well as how they deal with people who have zero self awareness. Spoiler alert: it's not easy.  Whether navigating life, relationships or work, the duo comment on how self awareness can be situational and grows as you mature. Their younger selves really failed at times. 

In addition to self awareness, they chat through why people go back to people who have cheated, another Kardashian break up and everything in between. 

They say finding friends at the schoolyard is hard, but finding friends once you're an "adult" isn't any easier.  While saying best friends forever (BFFs) was easy as a child, once you're an adult you realize it's almost impossible.  In this week's That's What We Said Podcast, Jen and Nicole chat through how they find friends. Understandably, they acknowledge that you have to take the time for it and be consistent.  They also chat through all the ways you can meet friends as you get older and if they have ever tried any of the friend-finding apps. So, if you are looking to meet a new friend, maybe give a listen and they'll have a piece of advice that you can use to make socializing a bit easier. 

Before they dive into friend finding, they also chat through why celebrities think its okay to blast other celebs.  Newsflash, it's not because they are trying to make friends. They also chat through Madison LeCroy's new beau. 

Back from the Caribbean and wine country, Jen and Nicole discuss peer pressure in this week's That's What We Said podcast. Different from peer pressure when you are a kid, adult peer pressure takes on a whole new level of PRESSURE. From not wanting to disappoint your friends, to fear of never getting invited to something again, there's a lot of factors in play.  And, then there's the pressure to date, get married or have kids. To hear all the trials and tribulations of peer pressure and the latest celebrity babies to enter this world, listen to this week's episode. 

You look great. That presentation was fire. Why is it so difficult to accept such statements with a polite thank you? On this week's That's What We Said Podcast Jen and Nicole talk through all the reasons we (especially all you ladies out there) are absolutely terrible at accepting any type of compliment.  We deflect, skip topics to something else and worst but certainly not least, we deny, deny, deny....anything that could be worthy of any type of praise. Some articles state that people are just being humble, but Jen and Nicole talk through how people (including themselves) are just dumb. Take the compliment. 

In addition to all the compliment talk, Jen and Nicole talk about their busy schedules and the continuous lack of pop culture. The podcast is wrapped up with a sneak peak at Nicole's pledge for a "fun" summer and commitment to not being so nice to people who are just plain rude and undeserving.  

In a coffee fueled edition of the That's What We Said Podcast, Jen and Nicole discuss why people feel the need to be fake.  From the people who are 'fake nice' to everyone to the people who have zero intentions of hanging out, even though they keep suggesting such activities.  It really makes no sense.
