The Atlanta Braves just came home to a very winnable home stand where the team really needed to win both series, versus the sub-.500 likes of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Baltimore Orioles, and Philadelphia Phillies. They would not win all three series. They would not even win one series. They would win two games in the entire nine-game home stand, that would culminate with them getting swept by the Orioles to finish it out. The worst thing about the Orioles sweep, is that the two remaining starters that can be trusted got beat. The Braves are now 11 games under .500, with a record of 39-50, and with an incomplete rotation plus a still scuffling lineup, it may just get worse before it gets better. Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael get in to the Braves, and some positives as we head towards the All-Star Break.
