Here's a verse for the week:

"A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath." (Proverbs 21:14)

Apply it: There are times when we have run-ins with people, and often these times are accidental. When you know that someone has been hurt or offended by something that you did or said, apologize sincerely and give them a "gift in secret." It could be a gift card to the grocery store, or a bag of their favorite coffee beans. The "gift in secret" principle is not a bribe. It's a bridge to reconciliation. Try it.
