The chapter continues with instructions for husbands to take to heart. Having a loving relationship is a priceless treasure. Even though this is a "couples" chapter, the wisdom is good for all of us to heed. It boils down to contentment.

"Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well." (Proverbs 5:15)
