Fail to plan. Plan to fail.
But what if, the answer to you reaching your goals was actualling PLANNING FOR FAILURE?
If you have the "I'll start again tomorrow" convo way too many times and you feel like you're always putting the effort in to your goals YET you are never far from the start line - this is for YOU!
The probelm with popular goal setting strategies is that it implies that where you are to where you to be is nothing more that a set of actions.
BUT, there's a fundamental flaw with that. And i'm telling you what that is inside today's episode.
The problem is NOT the strategy, the solution is in execution and the process is looking for potholes.
Intruiged? Great.. take a listen.
And please do support me by leaving me a review and sharing this podcast. Thanks muchly!!

What if there were NO right decision?
What if thinking you need to make a different decision is a fear response?
What if 100% commitment is easier than 98%
We're diving in to all of this, during this 2 part of the Decisions podcast.
In epsiode #168 it was all about the inspiration and creating your Decision Manifesto.
In today's episode it's all about the MOTIVATION...
How do you make the "right" decision?
What do you need to be wary of when you're looking at a new decision?
How do you be the person who does the do?
Making powerful and quick decisions is a foundational part of coaching. If you want to find out how you can make and act from powerful decisions so you can get the results you want in your life, book your free consultation now.
I realised that during these bonus episodes, i've been focusing on decisions that have created a sort of "fanfare or book worthy" outcome.
And that, with that focus, I've completely ignored the fact that I know that YOU have made a tonne of decisions in your life, that were courageous, that you've not given yourself credit for because there wasn't a fanfare, or a book worthy outcome.
There was a change of path. There was a commitment to what you needed. There was the love of another person.
It was a decision that was BIG to you because OUR life changing decisions are subjective. Just because they're not even in someone elses mind space, it doesn't deny the impact in our life.
So today this is ALL ABOUT YOU - being your own inspiration and giving yourself credit for the amazing being you are and all the tough sh*t you've navigated and survived! I'm applauding you. Seriously.
The Decision Manifesto - Steps
I make decisions to honour my values of love, freedom and growth and to create & access the feelings of curiosity, connection and presence so that I can inspire, motivate and coach others to create and life a life of Alchemy.
Beautiful right?
Self Judgement is how conditioned mind keeps control over your life - Cheri Huber
After having a bit of a meltdown this weekend over impending perimenopause(details in the podcast).. I got to thinking about self judgement.
I realised a few things
Let me tell you, I hold gold medals in several Self Judgement categories so I am well rehearsed in The Model of self judgement. I understand how the thoughts pierce your brain with their claws, clinging and scratching inside your head.
I know how it feels to drag those feelings around in your body, walking in to rooms feeling like you are wearing a neon sign that says "I don't fit in here". I know what it's like to wake up with the first thought being that of self hate and self judgement right then would seem positively luxurious.
I also know how it feels to make peace with self judgement and to change the model to self acceptance and self love.
In this episode, my intention is to provide insight, hope and options to help you do the same. From my heart to yours..

In today's bonus episode from the series, "What's Possible When You Make a Decision", I'm introducing you to Tabita.
Tabitha is the owner of Fit For Grace Coaching (find her on Instagram, Facebook and website), a mother of EIGHT and a professional body builder.
With over 20 years in the health and fitness industry, Tabitha was making about $10k selling her services and did it "for fun" and "becasue I love it".
However, during the pandemic, Tabitha found herself in a place that she didn't want to stay and after some therapy, found her way to life coaching.
It was the match that started the fire.
What I find so fascinating, grounding and inspiring about Tabitha's story - is that she always came from a place of "sitting in possibility" - and you'll hear in the episode how that has allowed her to always stay in "messy action".
In January 2022 she decided to actually LAUNCH her business and a life and health coach, trusting that she had something to offer.
She was booked out almost immediately.
What happened over the next 12 months is powerful and exciting and a reflection of Tabitha's willingness to be messy, borrowing beliefs, managing downward spirals and her faith.
So, you know what to do, grab you coffee, pen and paper and let's dive right in.

At the age of 69, Ron decided to train for a solo IronMan. Due to covid, he wasn't able to complete it until September 2022, at the age of 71 and in just 15 hours.
But for Ron, it wasn't so much about the physical challenge - but more about using it as a vehicle to exorcise the demons of childhood abuse, that he'd carried his whole life.
Raising money for the National Association of People Abused in Childhood, Ron tells us how every cycle and every run was a way to "squeeze the bas*ard" out of his mind and his life, once and for all.
As part of the "What's Possible When You Decide" series, I feel that this interview is more about what happens when you KEEP deciding. Keep deciding that you are worthy. Keep deciding that you can love yourself. Keep deciding that there is a different future available.
I have listened to many of Ron's stories when we spent a couple of months working together, and I continue to be inspired by this man over and again. Thank you Ron for sharing your story with us.

When you're trying to build your small business, it's easy to believe that you need to do more.
That you need to be working harder.
That you need to be doing 'all the things'.
But if you're not seeing the growth you want in your business AND you spend too much time feeling anxious and overwhelmed AND your thoughts feel invasive... then I'm here to tell you that it's time to FIND YOUR HARD.
Finding Your Hard starts with the PET process.
Once you've done that you need to start asking yourself "Whats my hard, that i've not been able to see before because of what I thought I SHOULD be doing".
AND HERE'S WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS..
Notice that when you define hard as a strict regime, more on your schedule, working longer, doing all the things - you're still not getting the results you want. AND at the same time you feel awful.
When you have the courage to find and choose your hard, you WILL find the way to take small and aligned action that gets you IN action every day. And what does action, every day create? RESULTS!

How do you keep believing that your small business will succeed?
How do you keep that thought even though and especially when, things are NOT working?
Let me tell you...
I've worked with small business owners for a long time now, and I'm in communities with well over 13k students between them.
AND THE SAME PROBLEMS COME UP OVER AND AGAIN...
And what these people are looking for is painless, quick, easy fix/strategy to get them out of where they are and to where they want to be.
And it is THAT mentality that keeps them stuck exactly where they are.
So in this episode I'm introducing you to the 3 most common archetypes I see:
The Thinker.
The Yo-Yo'er
The Achiever
I'm going to give you the 3 steps to believing in your business
And as always, at the end, I'll give you some simple steps to start implementing right away. Today it's 3 simple AND business/life transforming steps.

At the age of 22, Jamie became paralysed from the waist down, and down the left side of his face, due to an auto immune condition.
His doctors said this very rare condition had no known cause nor cure, and that he would be medicated for the rest of his life for the pain.
But Jamie had different ideas.
He made a very different, and very powerful decision. And today you get to find out what that is. (I've marked this as explicit as there are a couple of curse words and I don't want to offend anyone!)
WELCOME
I am so fascinated by the human brain and how we choose to use it. That when, in our soul, we make a decision, we can literally change our lives.
And so I decided to do some bonus podcasts where I interview amazing people who have done just that.
I met Jamie, when he faciliated a Wim Hoff workshop that I attended in November 2022.
I was blown away by his story and his energy and it was then that I decided to start recording these interviews.
Micro Steps
One of the most profound and valuable shares in this interview, for me, was the realisation of the quatum change Jamie created in his life from MICRO steps.
He was SO invested in this outcome that he was willing to give it the time and detail that it needed.
In a world where we get so discouraged when we don't get our big wins quick enough; where the 'microwave mentality' causes so much anxiety and disconnection - Jamie's willigness to forget the time line, is a powerful and grounding message.
If you'd like to follow Jamie (which I highly recommend you do) and find out where he's running his next workshops, you can do so here:
