Today's episode is with Brad Barron, the CEO of Barron Heating and Cooling.
Brad's and my relationship is a fun full circle story!
Brad was one of my favorite hires that we made when I was President of Sales for a national contractor. We hired him in 2014 to be a Sales Engineer in the state of Washington about
Well, a little less than a year later, he left us to go to a much larger company and opportunity.....good for him, bad for me :)
However, a few years later in 2017, he felt called to join the family business, Barron Heating and Cooling.
After 4 years at the company, Brad was Chief Operating Officer (COO) and transitioning to CEO and knew he needed help.
Which is how we reunite!
Brad and I were connected on LinkedIn, so he was aware of how our coaching was helping other leaders. He reached out to get help with his transition to CEO.
We have now worked together for the last 9 months and Brad is currently CEO of Barron Heating and Cooling, which has over 200 employees.
Brad has continued the strong culture of having a strong company vision and values. He is also a strong man of faith and family man.
There is a lot to learn in this episode as he's truly a leader that cares about his employees, his family, and consistently does what he can to win at work and at home. I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did!
In this episode, you’ll discover…
Brad’s Bio:
With his ingenuity, drive, and passion to think beyond the box, Brad has taken Barron by storm since joining the team in 2017.
He was quick to shine in each of his roles, spearheading the expansion into full plumbing and electrical services, solar, Barron Technician School, and more. Now as Chief Executive Officer, Brad lives by a servant leadership philosophy—and always with a joke to share.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Washington (go Dawgs!), he spent a number of years as a Professional Engineer before bringing his experience to the Barron Team.
Born and raised in Bellingham, he enjoys spending time outside with his family (wife and three sons) and friends—hiking, boating, skiing, and camping. Brad is a Volkswagen enthusiast and enjoys time behind the wheel of his 1979 Westfalia Camper.
