“For where God is taking you, the things that you hold on to as crutches, you have to let go to be able to walk on your own.”
I have battled with my feelings for years— in silence of course, because who wants to appear weak? At least that’s what I considered to be weakness in my immaturity. What I have found to be true, however, is the opposite— that being emotional and learning to hone those emotions and overcome them is the true of strength.
So I hope this episode resonates with you— I pray that if it does nothing it helps you realize that you are not alone, that God has positioned people in your life for this exact moment in time. And beyond that, he brought you across this episode so you could realize you’re not the only one who feels the way you do right now, and it will pass.
Episode Quotable:
For where God is taking you, the things that you hold on to as crutches, you have to let go to be able to walk on your own.
Scriptural Reference:
Hebrews 4:15 (NIV)
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
