All throughout history, God's people have faced challenges, trials and persecution. From man's perspective, each of these situations was hopeless, except for two little words: BUT GOD. When we trust in God's strength and wisdom, even the most daunting of situations becomes an opportunity for victory.

The Seventh Bowl Judgment in Revelation is the final act of God's judgment against sinners on the earth at the end of the Great Tribulation. As this judgment is poured out on the -air-, a great storm of voices and thunderings and lightnings issues forth, followed by hail and a great earthquake that levels the mountains and all the cities of the nations, while simultaneously elevating and altering the city of Jerusalem in preparation for the coming of King Jesus.

Most people will usually skim over or completely avoid passages in Scripture that are made up of genealogies. The beginning of Matthew 1 is just such a passage that delineates the family line of Jesus Christ through his earthly father, Joseph. At the end of Revelation 14, the Apostle John receives a vision of the -harvest- at the end of the Great Tribulation. The first -reaping- done by Jesus Christ signifies the seven vial judgments that are about to be poured out on unrepentant mankind. The second -reaping- is the judgment Christ carried out against the armies of the Antichrist at the Battle of Armageddon.

At the end of the Great Tribulation, the angels of God will pour out the last judgments of God's wrath in the bowl judgments. Revelation 15 introduces this series of judgments as 7 angels come out of the temple of heaven, and the martyred Tribulation saints sing a song of praise to God for His deliverance of His people and for His righteous judgment against sinners.

In Revelation 16, God tells His angels to begin pouring out his last judgments upon the earth. The seven Bowl judgments are the most severe instances of God's wrath being executed against sinners on the earth. Yet in the midst of intense suffering, sinful mankind continues on in sin, blaspheming God and refusing to give Him glory.

True thankfulness to God begins with the right attitude of a heart focused on being content with what we already have, understanding that everything is by God's grace since we deserve nothing, and valuing the Giver more than the gifts.
