Mark Wong is an entrepreneur, ex-sommelier and the Founder of Impossibrew. Longing for the relaxing sensations of drinking after a health scare that made him cut alcohol, he founded an alcohol-free challenger startup with a biosciences professor to create a beer alternative that is enhanced for better mood and relaxation. His enhanced beers have since won a Gold Medal at one of the largest beer competitions in Europe against full-ABV beers. He is also a Great British Young Entrepreneur Finalist for 2021 and more recently Impossibrew successfully raised on Crowdcube.

George Ulmann started his career as a strategy consultant, focusing on digital, innovation and helping companies bring new products to market. Over 5 years at Monitor Deloitte, he specialised in product commercialisation, including pricing and marketing strategies.

He was a founding team member at MedShr, an app and network for doctors. There are now over 2 million doctors using MedShr to share, discuss and learn from each other in a secure, professional network. He’s had a number of roles at MedShr from Head of Growth to Head of Product. He is now COO and heads up MedShr’s partnership division. He leads MedShr education work across Cardiology, COVID-19, oncology and wider global health issues.

Beyond MedShr, he has a keen interest in education, having built an education agency supporting disadvantaged but able students to get places and funding to study at Oxford and Cambridge. He also advises a number of start-ups, scale-ups and established businesses.

Andrea Marec is the co-founder and CFO of Reasoned Art. Reasoned Art is a digital art gallery that aims to connect the best artists with the art system and art collectors, bridging tradition and innovation through an on-life approach. Andrea joined Giulio Bozzo in the creation of the startup in 2020, leading it from a one-person project to a recognized brand working with monuments like the Arch of Peace in Milan and the Pantheon in Rome, as well collaborating with brands like Bulgari in curating digital artists. They merge the potential of blockchain and NFT technology to select digital artists worldwide. They curate physical and virtual exhibitions and certify the authenticity of works allowing their sale through NFT, enabling artists to sell their artworks with transparency, security and traceability. Andrea graduated in Economics and Social Sciences form Keio University in Tokyo and Bocconi University in Milan. More recently he has been recognised for his efforts in Forbes Under 30 for 2022.

Aasiyah Abdulsalam graduated from the London School of Economics in 2017 and started building her beauty brand, The Renatural. Mentioned in Vogue, The Renatural’s signature product, The Wig Fix, uses an innovative silicon band to anchor wigs. Sales are projected to reach $1.2 million in 2022, and inventory is projected to hit 300 JCPenney stores across the U.S. by September. More recently she has been announced on the list for Forbes 30 under 30 Europe for 2022 in retail & e-commerce.

Sam Gormley setup Osaka Labs in 2017 off the back of a landmark year for digital marketing and social advertising. Having worked across a number of industries, Sam had provided digital advertising services for brands such as Mastercard, HSBC and Sony Music before taking the leap to build an agency that combines technical and creative capabilities.

Dr Tiancun Xiao is a senior research fellow in the Chemistry Department at Oxford University. He came to Oxford in 1999, initially planned for one year working as the Royal Society BP-Amoco Fellow. However, due to his new inventions in catalyst development, he was then awarded University Challenge SEED Funding and an Industrial Fellowship to continue his work. During his time at Oxford up to 2003, he developed various catalyst design and preparation technologies. In 2004, he became co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Oxford Catalysts Ltd, a spin-out company from Oxford University. The company was floated on the London AIM Stock Exchange in April 2006 valued at 65 million pounds. The company eventually moved its main operations to the US. In 2008, Oxford Catalysts Plc acquired Velocys,  and was later rebranded as Velocys in 2011.

He returned to Oxford University, and continued his research in catalysts and clean processing in energy and environmental areas, focusing on CO2 utilization and waste to energy. In 2021, Dr Xiao co-founded a new spin-out company from Oxford University, OXCCU Tech Ltd. Due to the high efficient one-step conversion of CO2 to aviation fuel, OXCCU was invited to attend the technology exhibition in COP26 in 2021. Dr Xiao has published more than 260 papers and filed more than 40 patents, with many of his catalysts being used in industrial application.

Emanuela Wu is the Head of Global Business Development of Impossible Brands in Milan. Impossible Brands is a digital fashion accelerator with the goal of incubating and accelerating fashion brands Made in Italy. In the past, Emanuela was the Global Business Development Manager in AliExpress Social Commerce Program at their HQ in Hangzhou, China. She initially participated in the Alibaba Global Talent Development program, the leadership academy founded by Jack Ma with the aim of training the next global leaders of Alibaba.

Prior to Alibaba, Emanuela worked as a consultant for over 3 years eventually becoming a Senior Digital Innovation Consultant at EY, helping to consolidate its expertise in E-commerce, with a focus on Retail, Fashion and Entertainment. Prior to consulting, Emanuela worked in Business Development for a startup in Amsterdam, and then for Google AdWords in Milan.

Jordan Hu grew up in Paris and worked mainly in the financial industry with a focus on investment banking at institutions such as Lazards and Perella Weinberg Partners. He co-founded an advisory firm called Cross Impact specializes in mergers & acquisitions & fundraising crossborder between China and Europe, and his partner Stephane Mardel is the founder of an early-stage fintech VC fund called systema.vc.

He also founded RDS, a European-based networking club that provides tailored career consulting coaching, academic application support, and professional experience to equip students with the tools they need to choose their careers and maximize their potential. Over the past three years, they have helped many leading European schools to strengthen their recruitment of international students worldwide thanks to their strong local relationships and partners where they have helped more than 700 students to join many prestigious companies namely: Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Lazard, Bank of America, PJT Partners, Bain and many more.

Niro Knox is a trailblazer Marketer and Data scientist. He is the founder of SocialWorx and Head of Marketing at Blade Marketing. In his role, he supports B2B lead Generation, market research and data gathering analysis. He recently launched LeadTron.io, a live data search tool for business development. He is responsible for scaling several businesses rapidly and developing high scale lead generation systems.

Paulina Sygulska Tenner is an entrepreneur, an angel investor, a TEDx speaker and a founder of GrantTree, started with a purpose to help tech startups navigate the complex world of government funding. Since 2010 the team grew organically from 2 to over 50, and has raised over £200m for more than 600 technology startups and scaleups using solely government funding schemes. GrantTree is also an open culture company which pioneered a self set salary scheme, and an empowering culture governed by holacracy.
