In Episode #28 of BusyBee Refinishing with MelDidItHerself, I dive into part 2 of my approach to goal setting– in your personal life, business, or wherever else you want to set some intentions and see some improvement for 2023. I don’t necessarily set “new year’s resolutions”, rather I intentionally set goals and plan for the new year in order to break habits that are no longer serving me, maintain things that have been working for me, and set up new systems in my life in order to grow and improve. These approaches to goal setting will ensure you avoid mistakes made in the past, help you get clear on your vision for the year, and keep these goals top of mind so you don’t fall off after a month into the new year. I hope it helps!!

In Episode #25 of Busybee Refinishing with MelDidItHerself, I outline some of the many ways you can add a fun pop of creativity to your furniture makeovers by giving some lovin’ to the drawers of your furniture flips. This is a large part of the real estate of your refinished furniture and it often goes under-addressed or forgotten altogether, so this episode reviews some of your options: adding furniture salve to your furniture drawers, how to add a drawer liner and where to get drawer liners for your furniture makeovers, and different options for adding a stencil to the drawers of your painted pieces. If you have ever wondered “how do I make my furniture makeovers stand out against the competition” or “what would be an unexpected creative pop to add to my upcycled furniture”, this episode is for you!
