Marissa reports on the REAL LIFE story of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia. Her life, mysterious disappearance, and eventual death are discussed. Anna proves that she's a bad Russian because she knows nothing of Anastasia NOR has seen the cartoon movie.
Then Anna discussed the REAL LIFE (allegedly) of the Men in Black. M-I-B-M-I-B. Anna reviews the top reports of Men in Black sightings and discussed who/what the could potentially be. Somehow MARISSA never saw the movie!
SO Anna needs to watch Anastasia and Marissa needs to watch the Men in Black (only the first movie, obvi).

What happened to Otto in North Korea that led to his untimely death? Our advice is just like maybe don't do dark tourism in foreign countries (???). Then to counteract last week's episode, Anna talks about the GIRL in the Box (listener warning: this case details physical and sexual violence). Comin' at you with another interesting combo! Anna and Marissa had two very different weeks to catch each other up on. Then they go into their two very unrelated topics that are definitely not within their comfort zones. Both recommendations! First Marissa talks about the very unusual case of the Killdozer. You read that right. KILL. DOZER. We were really hoping for a "down with the man!" fairy tale, but turns out... this guy is kind of just a douche. Then Anna talks about.... mermaids...? Anna really wanted this research to be valid, but turns out she got bamboozled! We just really want all the conspiracy theories to be true! Got a really sad one this week. Marissa reports on the mysterious disappearance and subsequent deaths of Kris Kremers & Lisanne Froon. Two young and vibrant women go to Panama for a little R & R and volunteerism when they get lost on a hiking trail. Unfortunately, they both perished before they could be found. Technically, their causes of deaths were announced and the case is considered closed; however, Marissa and Anna have different thoughts on these. Then Anna goes full-on true crime describing the horrible and heinous acts that occurred during the Cheshire, Connecticut home invasion murders. [TRIGGER WARNING: this case involves sexual and physical violence, particularly against a child. Please take care of yourself and consider this before listening.] This case is definitely shut and closed but we still find the crime to be fascinating, in the most morbid of ways. We'll try to make sure we don't do TWO super sad topics anymore.
