Greetings ButterFam! Today we have a very exciting new type of episode releasing...a "megasode." With everything that is going on in America right now, we took some time to think about and discuss how we can use our platform to highlight and talk about diverse voices in cinema. For this new format we are talking about 4 movies - The Watermelon Woman (1996), Blackkklansman (2018), Moonlight (2016), and Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song (1971).
We hope that these films will serve as a launching point for our own personal journeys in exploring more diverse cinema, and we also hope that you enjoy listening to us discuss these films! Let us know what you think of this new episode format and what you would like us to discuss in the future!
