Butter With That

We're back!! Firstly, we want to thank everyone listening to Butter With That for their support and patience during these difficult times. We are really excited to begin putting out episodes again and we want your feedback! What would you like to see us talk about? Themes? One-off episodes? You name, we'll listen!

For this episode, you can listen to Tori, Dave, Chrystine, and Connor discuss what they've been watching during the quarantine so far and hear us discuss our future plans for BWT.

This week, as Team Butter is gearing up for our next theme, give a listen to an awesome collaboration that Tori was a part of - discussing the animated Star Wars show THE CLONE WARS. With Season 7 wrapping up recently we thought this would be a great time to release this episode!

This week, Team Butter wraps up our Missed the Boat theme by talking about a movie that seemed to fly under everyone's radar, THE DEATH OF STALIN. This 2008 satire depicts the aftermath of Joseph Stalin's death and the power scramble to become the head of the USSR. Listen to us discuss Steve Buscemi as Nikita Khrushchev and the rest of the hilarious ensemble!

The Force Awakens & Pick Your Star Wars Co-Pilot - Ep. 89 by Butter With That?

Hello Butter Fam! Sorry for the brief delay in episodes but we are back on track and better than ever! Continuing our theme of Missed the Boat, Chrystine chose DETECTIVE PIKACHU for us to watch and discuss. How big of a Pokemon fan are you?? Be sure to let us know!

Big Daddy & What's Your Most Relaxing Day? - Ep. 87 by Butter With That?

Hello Butter Fam! We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy during this quarantine. While we are still staying at home, that doesn't mean we are going to stop discussing movies! This week we kick off a new theme...MISS THE BOAT.

What does "Miss the Boat" mean, you might be asking? Well, has there ever been a film, a franchise, an actor, a director, or even a genre that you feel you never got into or had the opportunity to see? That's what our new theme is all about! We are each picking a movie that represents something we wish we hopped on board with sooner, and we are kicking it off with Connor's pick SPIRITED AWAY.

Until now, Connor has never really seen any Studio Ghibli film, so listen to us discuss this anime masterpiece and how rich this film is both visually and thematically. Additionally, Connor asks the Butter Crew to pick which spirit they would want to be!

Happy Friday Butter Fam! We hope that everyone is safe and healthy in their homes during these trying times, and we hope that we can make your quarantine a little better :)

This week, we are recoding online, and you can watch our Zoom session on YouTube if you want! (Butter With That ? is the channel name). We each came up with a few movies/tv shows we recommend to help us all through these trying times. Be sure to let us know what films or tv shows are "comfort" for you, or stuff you think we should be watching now that we have the time!

Next week, we should be back to our regularly scheduled programming, so thanks for your patience!

Well would you look at that...another trivia episode! We welcome back Alanna to test her movie trivia knowledge and to hang out with us. We planned on releasing this episode in the future....but COVID0-19 had other plans. We hope that all our ButterFam are staying safe and healthy, and we hope to have regular content back soon for y'all.

Hey ButterFam! Sorry we are late - real world complications because of COVID-19 - but we are back and better than ever! This week, we invited friend of the show Alanna to discuss one of her favorite movies...MUPPET TREASURE ISLAND! Connor and Sam have never seen this movie we go through all the highs of this 90's classic, discuss Muppets and Jim Henson in general, and sharing lots of love with Tim Curry (a global treasure). Alanna also asks us to talk about our favorite villains!

Stay healthy and safe and binge happily during these trying times!
