The Penn State Nittany Lions Football team is in full offseason mode. The team is wrapping up roster announcements for the current players but the staff is pivoting quickly to full recruiting mode for the 2026 recruiting class and beyond. Recruiting is never over, but it's now in the spotlight on the BWI Live show today at 10 a.m. Join us as recruiting expert Ryan Snyder discusses the names you need to know that are visiting Penn State in the coming weeks to check out the program.

Penn State gets more roster news for 2025

Before we dive headfirst into recruiting, there's more roster information to discuss regarding the return of Dom DeLuca and JB Nelson for the upcoming season. What does their return do for the roster in 2025? Can Penn State keep all of the offensive linemen it has on the roster happy?

Next, we'll dive into the recent news with Big Ten foe Rutgers. Penn State lost a recruiting battle for three-star athlete Elias Coke on Wednesday to the Scarlet Knights and the next day a former Nittany Lion chose them as his transfer destination. Former Penn State cornerback Cam Miller is headed to New Jersey to continue his college career. We'll discuss the impact of those moves for Penn State.

After wrapping up the roster news, we'll dive into today's main topic: Penn State's upcoming Junior Days. We'll discuss what fans need to know about the upcoming visits and what they should expect from them. Will the team get commitments from key prospects in the coming days? Next, we'll discuss the latest Penn State recruiting news. One player from the transfer portal that we haven't discussed is former Michigan defensive tackle Owen Waffle. The former Wolverine was a Class of 2023 recruit and has no college film to discuss so we'll recap his recruiting journey and what we know of his profile to asses what he brings to Penn State's defenisve tackle room.
