  • Jeff Hardy's license suspended for 10 years, DUI case closed, Hardy will serve no jail time

    "The Florida DUI case involving AEW roster member Jeff Hardy dating back to June 2022 was closed on Thursday after he submitted a written plea of nolo contendere to all charges.


    Hardy's license will be suspended for the next decade and he will get 38 days credit for time served in county jail as part of his sentence.


    Nolo contendere is where a defendant agrees to accept punishment, but does not accept or deny responsibility for that in which they are charged.


    Hardy was arrested on the morning of June 28th in Florida and was charged with one count of DUI (his third offense), one count of driving under a suspended/canceled/revoked license, and one count of driving while his license was restricted.


    He pled not guilty and faced up to five years in prison for the main charge while the others were misdemeanors.


    Here is the full sentence via Volusia County court records:


    A 38-day county jail sentence with 38 days credit for time served

    Two years probation

    $4586 in fines and court fees

    A 10-year suspension of his license 

    Two years with an interlock device and 90-day vehicle impoundment

    Court-mandated DUI school or drug rehab program

    Community service


    On Tuesday, Hardy's attorney filed a motion to suppress the breath test results from his arrest as unreliable. They claimed the Intoxilyzer that was used was not inspected by the Florida Highway Patrol the month before Hardy was tested which violates a Florida Department of Law Enforcement rule in which such equipment must be "inspected by an agency inspector at least once each calendar month."


    They also claimed the equipment used exhibited "significant signs of unreliability" during tests and inspections, but was not fixed or removed from circulation.


    According to the police report, Hardy blew a 0.294 and 0.291 as part of two tests, far above the Florida legal limit of .08.


    The conclusion follows a long and winding road of delays throughout the last eight months.


    Hardy was immediately suspended by AEW after the arrest without pay and "can only return to AEW upon successfully completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety."


    There has been no indication if Hardy is interested in returning to wrestling and if so, any target date"

    And in reply to him this is what I said: "But this was a romance only meant for this Storyarc.  Like Zack Morris romance in the Saved By The Bell: Hawaiian Style movie back in the early 90s."


    His reponse: "Dude, Ian Flynn and crew put it up to a fan vote. I'm not joking...


    WE sunk that ship"


    My response: "I understand that.  But I'm just saying it reminds me of that kind one-shot romance only meant for one specific story."


    His responses: "Yeah, I guess that makes sense when you put it that way. I just love the fact that, at the time, the power was put into our hands, and we said bring Sonic and Sally back together.

    Sad to see Khan be Mr. Rebound, but...well, I didn't care for how he treated Nicole in that arc, so my feelings are still a little bit...how you say...conflicted on the subject."


    So here I explain why this romance was a one-shot deal for this storyarc.

    Folks, HARDCORE WRESTLING FANS,  @JDfromNY ,  @JustAlyx   @OTRSCentral  , and  @TheSolomonster   are worried, because even if this is (AND IT IS) a HHH booked idea. The years Vince used in ruining the product time after time after time after time, has caused fans like them to be parnoried with fear and worry of anything that reminds them of Vince's booking in any shape and form.

  • Where Is The HYPE For AEW Revolution 2023?

    Obliviously not there, right now.  But that COULD change this week.  However, out of the card (set for right now), only 4-5 matches have hype behind because of they stories behind them.  The rest need some hype behind them, hopefully they get that this Wednesday on DYNAMITE.


    But we'll see.

  • Should WWE Let Roman Reigns Surpass 1000 Days As Champion, Or Stay The Course With Cody Rhodes at WM

    Because right now, WWE is in a RARE booking situation of either staying the course with Cody possibly winning at WrestleMania or changing direction and letting Roman surpass 1000 days as champion.


    I'll tell you this, I wouldn't want to be Triple H and his creative crew right now.
