According to Dave Meltzer* And Other Sources. 

"As of right now, Sasha Banks is done with WWE."

Earlier this week, it was reported that Banks, now going by Mercedes Varnado, will compete for NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom in 2023. It's possible that appearance/match was set up through WWE and she will return to the company after that bout. However, according to an update from F4W Online, that is not the case, and Banks' potential New Japan work has nothing to do with her current/former employers.

The latest twist is that even though she may well still be bound to WWE at the time of typing this, NJPW is of the belief that by the Wrestle Kingdom on January 4, she will be a free agent and therefore able to compete wherever she likes. If that is even close to true, you'd have to think WWE's legal team is currently working around the clock to figure out how to prevent that from happening."

But hopefully,  as we inch closer to the event,  we will get a clearer answer.

So far, WWE is doing exactly what needs to be done as they approach the end of 2022, and enter into the New Year of 2023, and that's build momentum with the improvements and returns, that Triple H has working with and on since he took over the reigns of creative power.

However,  will it be enough?

Well, the 2023 Royal Rumble (The First under Triple H's rule) will answer that.

"Tony Khan said there has been a "soft launch" of HonorClub, he's put a lot of money into it, and it's now functional. HonorClub has the ROH library including the ROH Supercard of Honor 2022 and Death Before Dishonor 2022. The plan is to post PPV events on HonorClub 90 days after they air.

"The TV is going to live there," said Tony. He confirmed there will be a weekly TV show. He will announce when TV on HonorClub will start at a later date, saying he'll provide more information in January after the Seattle (January 4) and Los Angeles (January 11) AEW shows.

PPV will remain on Warner Bros. Discovery platforms.

HonorClub is $9.99

Khan said they've talked with NJPW officials about building out something unique with ROH and he wants NJPW involved.

Ring of Honor previously taped episodes in bulk and aired them in syndication on Sinclair stations, FITE TV, and the ROH website. The company went on hiatus following ROH Final Battle 2021 with the remaining taped matches airing on television before episodes with new content were not aired. Tony Khan purchased ROH in March and with no television deal, began incorporating ROH talent and titles on AEW Dynamite and AEW Rampage."
