As the party regroups, Annabel keeps watch and spots something massive moving in the distance—proof that the danger hasn’t truly passed. With answers running thin and fear growing heavier, Thelandor urges them forward. The outpost lies only hours away. 🌲❄️

Their final push is cold, fast, and focused. Snow begins to fall as fortified walls rise from the horizon—timber, stone, watchtowers, and ballista standing firm against the chaos beyond. For the first time since Norvale fell, safety feels possible. 🏰

Inside the outpost, purpose replaces panic. Healers tend to Amelia and Brenna while the party learns troubling news: Brenna was stabbed by a cursed blade, and its dark influence still lingers. The sword taken from the cultists is revealed to be bound to Gnakuorog himself—dangerous to wield, dangerous to ignore. ⚔️👁️

As Miller and Annabel walk together through the settlement, grief and hope collide in quiet conversation—about parents, memory, and whether the dead can still hear the living. Nearby, Quinn and Thelandor wait in silence, both aware that Crownfall has only just begun. 🌑
