Taking shelter from the storm, the party encounters a small group of survivors escorting a badly wounded outpost guard. Undead roam nearby, the night closes in fast, and one truth becomes clear: if help is coming, it won’t be in time. ⚔️🌧️
An offer is made. Supplies. Shelter. And a fragile promise of acceptance at the outpost—if the party can retrieve a sacred artifact hidden within a ruined chapel just fifteen minutes away. The Saint’s Glass may be the only thing that can save the injured guard… and reveal what sickness truly grips him. 🕯️🩸
At the chapel, the air turns heavy. Moss-covered stone collapses inward. Tombstones lean like forgotten witnesses. Skeletons wander the grounds. Ghouls lurk just out of sight. And as the party splits up to scout the perimeter, fate intervenes in the smallest, cruelest way—a loose stone rolling across broken ground. 💀👁️
The dead turn.
Steel is drawn.
And the quiet explodes.
